No they really shouldn't - because as a public cop you can play very differently from a standard cop in that you can claim as to what you're doing
if it's a 3 person lylo then yes, cops should claim before that, but at 5 people alive there's room for a cop to clear themself still

It looks bad that you can play very aggressively to get the game going, but once the town seems directionless you stop doing that. It's like you want to play into that kind of a gamestate.

I tried to get the game going in the early game and I can't maintain that momentum indefinitely. How is that something you're pushing as a scumtell?

And it was extremely ubiquitous in the time period that your experience with me was from for me to completely disappear from thread until I had a scumread then deathtunnel them without giving reasons. Self described my town play as "punctuated equilibrium" where I go super hard when I have something to do and don't post when I don't.
I fail to see how you mental gymnastics my slowed pace as a scumtell when you know I can maintain pace as scum, slow periods were more common from me in your experience than for people who know me now, and when the "gamestate I'm trying to create" is actually still pretty good even though it's not as dramatic. The Jenga blocks just don't stack. So are you scumreading me for something else or are you scum?
I've never viewed you as not having something to say or keeping quiet.

RC taking a breather when he thinks he's found scum (as it seems here) is usually town RC. Not outside his scum range but not scummy.

regardless of his alignment he has decided that he wants to push on me this game and arguing that I'm town won't change that because he's not voting me for reads reasons.
