If I had greased the marbles I would have picked first instead of where I did pick that year. That being said I am down for whatever pick method happens. To panzer's point having yahoo randomize it may be a good change of pace. We try it for one year, and if we like it we keep it. Otherwise we try something else next time.

Mith, you sure the schedules are set right? I believe I am correctly playing my division mates twice, but I am doing that weeks 2, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14 instead of 1, 2, 3, 12, 13, 14.

IIRC we decided against it a previous year.

I'm more concerned about the schedules since you normally want to play your division rivals during those weeks to cut down on how much byes effect those kind of games

This is how it has always been set up - division games in weeks 2, 12-14, and the other two somewhere in weeks 4-10.

There is no avoiding hitting a bye week currently (4-12), so this schedule results in playing each division opponent once with no byes and once with. (I originally set it up this way in part because I didn’t care for week 1 being divisional - it’s a bit more of a crapshoot - but if the league goes back to 4-11 byes I would be fine with remaking the schedule.)

When you put it that way, the schedule we currently have sounds fine since it does allow 1 with bye and once without.

I will try to make the best out of picking 12th then this year. Gonna do some mocks and hope for the best

i was sucessfully able to mock draft but it lookslike yahoo is having some issues letting me in the drafting room now. anyone else getting a screen that forever says "Downloading player data"?
