Good shout with Europe - I think it's easy to agree on that. I uh embarrassingly have no idea if whales are a thing in Scandinavia but I feel like they would be. I support that clue. At a lesser level horsies and bears speak to me as well.

Other than that I like train. I don't mind beach either. For some reason fence is tickling the back of my brain but I don't fully know why. If anyone else is having the sensation at least it's open for dialogue.

basically Charles hit the nail on the head for me. Think what happened last game was an innocent mistake but it probably shouldn't happen in the spirit of the game

TRUNK - this is slightly below exciting but you drive things with trunks
LOCK - unlock vehicle to drive?

hrmm:

TAIL - tailgating ? maybe ?
PIT - this is like, where racing cars get fixed right ?
STREAM - i'm sure people stream driving games? streamers 'drive' a stream? maybe?
ALIEN - drive spaceships
FOOT - you use these to drives
HOTEL - car parks? valets? sure?

that's a great point re. spot; wasn't thinking of a parking spot. it probably shows that i don't drive.

i also feel like we're probably looking for something a little abstract, or perhaps two car things and a non-car thing? or maybe all non-car things? mallow is playing 3d chess and i'm playing connect 4.

We both seem to like Hotel a real bunch, and trunk is growing on me given it seems to cross both clues.
Gonna assume this is a safe middle ground:

I'd be cool with trunk next. I do like Czech a lot, too. You're right about foot, that's almost certainly a clue for driving at this point. I'm happy with any order of those.

I'm not totally sure I have driving solved 3/3 either

most pressingly I sorta don't see a lot of other connections to love right away. note is probably the best one too, yeah.
it's possible that something was double clued for driving (you play driving games with a mouse?; driving machines have trunks?; aliens do be driving UFOs?; i'm drawin blanks)
