I think it's obvious that I'd be hypersensitive to scum manipulation here. That's why I'm leaning so heavily on PP's word rather than anyone else's. I don't really think scum would heavily push to mislynch a PR like that, that would be a great way to instantly draw suspicion.
Yeah, but in a situation where I would be the packaged and ribboned gift for them to win lylo. Like, I’ve been leading this. Multiple people are thinking I could be scum. Basically my only chance of a clear is if pine flips scum rn. Why, if others joined me, would they be lynched over me when I’d look awful tomorrow?

Not to mention there’d be two of them left, so they’d only need to convince one remaining townie to vote me and they could quickhammer it.

Did you? I thought you were pretty solidly TRing me for a while there?

Why do I add my partner to try and get a PR lynch through, knowing that I’ll die the next day? Why not add someone else, come around to the idea and then bus for the credit?

But okay, I do take your point, there are good reasons for scu!me to add sky here whether she’s town or scum. And scum!me might have gone for that move thinking the risk was worth the potential reward. But in this case that’s just not what it is. I did it for the exact reasons I said, because I’m town and I’m telling the truth. And even if you think the move was dodgy, I think my play right now is incredibly towny.

Because you/gobble is a viable team. If it's you/gobble you have to get Pine killed or you lose on the spot.

So if gobble flips town, it will make you look better. I don't necessarily know who I would vote between you two if that happened.

I’m honestly starting to wonder if you’re scum SS, but it’s just not fruitful because I don’t see how I’m ever winning against you given the gamestate which is why I’m continuing off the basis that you’re town and genuinely aren’t seeing why pine is the better kill today.

So I’d gobble flips scum I’m scum, if pine flips town I’m scum?

If govble flips town I’m slightly townier, if pine flips scum I’m very town?

Do you see why I want pine here? Think about if from town!me’s pov. Based on what I think you’re saying, in which of those two worlds am I easier to mislynch given that I SR pine?

Sorry, I’ll try to slow down. I just like interacting in real time and I think if you can see me as town then we win whereas if you can’t then we lose. It’s as simple as that.

It's not that I can't see your argument. I can see it. I think you're exaggerating the risk of Pine fake guiltying you and mislynching you.

You both could still be town, and even if you're not, I don't think I'd necessarily side with him if gobble flipped town.

We already covered this-- he will target Skyslot.
He shouldn't adhere to this with my death. He should be free to target who he wishes because my death and this public action will still result in his death.
In post 682, Something_Smart wrote:But I don't think it's a good idea to act on my own scumread, which I'm not super confident on, when the two people I trust most are saying Pine is town.

Like, it sucks that Elsa and Menalque put us in this position, and I do think there's a reasonable chance that you are town, but there's also a reasonable chance that you both are town and in that case it's better to keep Pine.
Cluck the haters, know what I'm saying?

No, I understand. I will say though that you are not really solving anything by capitulating in this moment. You will be presented with an almost identical choice tomorrow between Pine and Sky. By choosing me, you are betting the game on Sky being scum. Additionally, you are also narrowing your own townbloc even further since, correct me if I am wrong, you townread me as strong as you town read PP.

Menalque, I think scumSS would have let me get my two cents in, but then immediately have killed me or Pine (and if scumSS is scum with either of us, he would have killed the town one in that pair). The fact that SS is letting this day continue despite having full control to kill a townie (from the perspective of scumSS) means he is more than likely town.

I won't be back tonight, so good luck with whatever decision you make, SS. I will reiterate that the scum is Pine/Sky as my final reads list. Good luck town.

PP is probably at least 80% on Pine being town, though.

I don't think that's necessarily true. I think Elsa and I have a good shot at figuring this out.
