nominate katyusha for
creative commons
.
creative: self-evident. in particular id be thinking of saskeismyyaoikismesis and other fun things she tends to do. also we've been playing minecraft lately and she keeps going to creative mode to get a bunch of extra dirt blocks and whatever (i include this more as an Own than as a thing to consider obviously.)
commons: Communism incidentally the title probably shouldnt be capitalized
creative commons: she uses stock photos to make telephone pictionary drawings. also just sounds nice. u know how it is
thanks for your consideration i perhaps should have asked somebody else to post this so that i don't have to ego but whatever.

i mean there's the sort of more in-depth thing about 'commoners' (i.e. proletarians) and communities and whatever that the ideology is based on but it kind of goes as shallow as the fact that the first four letters are the same

um its like different from musically democrat bc when you put the words together it has an extra meaning: creative commons, a licensing service that allows (for instance) stock photos to be used with crediting

nominate schadd_ for the title of "well-versed;"
well-versed refers to the fact that he's modded a ton of games and has extensive experience modding/creating/reviewing setups and also has a blatant music pun with the word "verse"
i had to slip the semi-colon in too bc its schadd
This one I'm ready to give the 48 hours tho.
Speak now or forever hold your peace. (expired on 2019-07-10 04:11:25)
I'm approving either
well-versed;
or
well_versed;

for this reason i think "organized crime" is more apt
while the subforum thing is fresh in everyones head it will simply be ironic. which i think was ariels intention
- intending to evoke the artistic sense of the word "study", i.e. like some piece/installation intended to provoke ideas about a certain performance medium. in particular "a study in thread" just sounds like something you would name one of those. there's of course the basic play on words which is that she Studied in a Thread (which was labeled as performance art, lol. and also it was performance art). but also just the way that lalaladucks threads (or rather threads marked by her participation bc i dont think she actually really makes threads) naturally become a fun and participatory thing which becomes elevated in an arty sort of way, e.g. the gtkas thread or supp threads (didn't she invent the avatar bet ???)

the only thing is i'm not fully confident whether "a study in x" is an actual naming convention for art pieces or something that just emerged in my mind out of literally nothing. its kind of hard to google. there seems to be a handful of things called "a study in something" (e.g. the first sherlock holmes book "a study in scarlet", and maybe it would seem like the title is just referring to that somehow) but not like conceptual art pieces in the way i'd imagined
Could also be "study in thread" or one of the others maybe
yeahhhhhh thank you good
i also specifically considered eliding the "a" and also pluralizing threads. i guess "study in thread" would be more catchy and would also make the double entendre cleaner, i just wanted to give reason to think of the word "study" as a noun
In post 4185, Ariel wrote:I think it actually does fit the style of many threads she has made too - polls (including demographic polls), and a couple of speakeasy threads asking people what form their thoughts take and about medical mysteries
ok that totally makes sense. like the thread is an academic study too

heir apparent has to have something really fun hiding behind it. something that comes to me is like "there apparent" as in all the games where people are like "oh apparently enchant is here" but thats kinda too much title-ese to me
