(Also, if anyone who's played with me before is wondering why I'm playing differently, it's because I almost got lynched in Project Arch for my day 1 play and this game I don't have a Mason partner to bail me out, so... yeah. I'm not going to repeat behavior that almost got me killed in a previous game.)

I'm not sure why this is necessary to state explicitly? I think I remember something this could be said in response to, but I feel like it could be a self-meta style defense.

I think the running up of people is very scummy and there is at least one scum in the group doing the running up.

Hectic, the reason I think Rau is town based on that post is because I see very little scum reason to make that sort of statement at this point in the game. I would expect to see scum say this about the middle of D2, but with the game hardly started, I don't see any good reason why he would note this out loud unless it's to sow discord among players, but that seems really early to do. There's no scum advantage as far as I can see to the note, so I think that pretty well settles Rau as town.

And say Scum!Rau is true. He'd have no other reason to say A50 could be a a Maf IC unless he's trying to muddy town over the slot. And using this here is just not good scum play imo. Scum can make passing comments, but this is one that's FAR more likely to come from town.

What you're missing is roles are combinations of the roles we picked. Yes, there is a Cult IC for instance, but if that's the ONLY IC card you picked you can't be a Cult IC. You are either <alignment form another card> IC, or you are a Cult <role from another card>

I also very much doubt there's a non-town IC role to begin with. What you are referring to are CARDS that show a role and an alignment, so the resulting actual roles can only be one of the two. IC is TOWN because that's what IC is. If you get a Mafia IC resulting final role the mod should re-roll for you.

Voting someone you think is town in order to have a wagon to analyze is an interesting reason. Especially since you tend to taint the wagon analysis by being on it.

This whole exchange feels weird. I'm not sure I'm following the logic behind this, but I'm definitely putting it on my "look at again later to parse" list. The way these two respond to each other in this specific instance just does not feel right.
