Long story short, a bunch of alternate wincons were present in this game. Cyrus was mafia and had to hammer his teammate or otherwise get an item that his teammate was holding. Two other town players (Pine and PenguinPower) had this same wincon. Cyrus made a deal with Pine and PP by outting his teammate with the item so that Cyrus could hammer the teammate and get the item to satisfy his alt wincondition. Much chaos ensued, but Cyrus was hung, followed by the outted teammate, which had the domino effect of causing the last mafia to concede. All because he made a little deal with the devil.
Pine is the devil because he is
devilishy good looking
good at scum.
Maybe Pine’s title should be changed to something involving devils and deals...
It actually already is. But more than that, it's a reference to site history. I'm not above recommending a new Title for him if it fits better, but "In Your Head" is a high bar to hurdle.
My suggestion wasn't ever really serious, more a tongue in cheek poke at his unfiltered style. And yes, it was a little insulting and thus probably not worth serious consideration as a title.
