in the probably most recent "Hope plus one" game, i was playing with fumuki and to try solving the game i had basically read almost all his past games up until that date.

i'll try to give some vague knowledge about his meta or maybe explain without meta why he might be town but i'm not interested in revealing my ~secrets~ on him if there is no danger of him being lynched (and i don't think there is).

currently i have got like, 15% less confident that he is town due do activity (it's not that big of a deal to him though but...). Read is pretty much the same though aside from the fact that my top town read rn is drdolittle although i should check (not sure i'll) more of his scum games.

I just remember drdolittle being v v different from here as scum and even as town. I think the effort he has put here is considerably +ev town and not only the effort but his posts show some town thought process.

anyway recent posts or the lack of them have left me wondering if it's worth it to go for low reward lynches like Egix, BS o Wicked. rn I think the chances of there being scum in them is high enough but it's a waste of d1 to lynch that kind of slot if we get it wrong. If one of them is scum i don't think they would actually win in a lylo either.

imo tw/skitt/bingle has at least one scum from those past interactions and have the highest chances of winning here by eliminating certain people with nks, so focusing in someone with more presence in d1 works best for me, because d2 gets more productive even if we get it wrong.

btw i think teacher/A50 also have enough presence and my teacher scum read is rising with his posts about me. more later.

I'm not sure that I think wicked's big post is particularly towny, but I don't think I scum read him more than other people. Do you not think that slot will become clearer as the game progresses? Kept pushing tw/jingle but when the two wagons fell out, she said that wicked was a good idea but didn't really vote there bc it seemed like there wasn't enough support to rival Egix wagon. When it was apparent that Wicked wagon wouldn't get that kind of traction, she voted teacher which in everyone readlists is a more popular lynch choice (including my one since I said that my lynch order rn was "Egix > Teacher > Wicked > Blatant").

Bingle was the first one to join Egix wagon even without me actually explaining the read (he sheeped before my case) and i would be ok with that as long as he wouldn't back down once the wagon got hot. The unique thing that makes me doubt this is s v s is the fact that I don't think scum!Jingle would likely try to save such a condemned slot but it still doesn't look great in my mind.

I've already talked about what was wrong with Wicked in early game and how stiff his posts are, but the "I don't like Egix bandwagon and don't like nibbui/norwe" is next tier level scumminess and something that I think fits how scum!Wicked would probably play here considering what he already posted (if you consider him as scum, he is actually kind of unaware of a lot of scum tells that he repeatedly does?).

I have only been in one other game that reached any kind of this length on D1, and scum were quite active

I know you're not too used to play games outside the newbie queue/9p so i'll take this in good faith instead of criticizing and explain:

Micro 840 (again, i know, but it's a good example), was a 9p where we actually got to page 55 or so during d1 (and we did NOT use all of the deadline), while we also had less active people than here (it was mostly me, tw, skitt, pink ball a bit. close to the day's end slaxx replaced in but it didn't really count much in d1).

Anyway, 4/9 of the playerlist posted a bunch while other were more casual posting or even lurking in some cases. Every active slot was town.

I've a pet theory that there's prob scum in bingle/tw/skitt yes but i don't think it's because they are "active" but from their interactions. This looks like a bad-faith post for a "logical-oriented" player like you but i'll chalk it up as "not used to this kind of playerlist" thing right now.

I don't think being active/not-active by itself is of any use in reading people. But for example If someone dislikes X alignment while liking Y alignment, and they aren't posting in one of their games, yeah, they might be scum. (it's not really ellitell, but more like "how much effort each player puts in their games as each alignment").

Some people are really easy to read only observing how much effort they're putting in a game yes. Otherwise what you said is straight up bs tbh.
