Having played two semi-recent games with Skit (since July), both times I saw her react poorly to open buddying/hero-worship.

but a very large portion of how i form townreads (and i guess scumreads by negation) is if i can track the person's thought process, and understand how they arrived at the conclusions they did. whether or not i agree with the logic is irrelevant, the point is whether they're approaching the game with a coherent thought process

Kept pushing tw/jingle but when the two wagons fell out, she said that wicked was a good idea but didn't really vote there bc it seemed like there wasn't enough support to rival Egix wagon. I got to this point in my read-through. And I agree with your response to this, finding Bingle's methodology to be scummy, in 591 -- it strikes me as a way to appear to be solvey (rx testing and all) without giving out info. But one issue that stuck in my craw about 591 is the quote above - why would scum!Bingle agree with your read on his approach? Like, that gives you some towncred for getting mentality, and it paints his own actions in a worse light, no?

i don't think he particularly cared at that point how he was being perceived; if he did i don't think this whole obfuscating reaction thing would be his approach to the game

Like I think Mena and I have similar affection/melds/mentions of you throughout the game, but you call out me for buddying several times and not him (other than once IIRC). Re: 2077: Accepting menalque is again entirely consistent with town skit. In 674, skit quite accurately captures Mena's mindset. Indeed, Mena said pretty much the exact same words in 1951 -- here -- and throughout. So again, I see her stating true facts and sorting in her way. Sure, it could be from scum, but there is an entire consistency that is far more likely town.

When I'm engaging skitter in mb I kind of ask myself what she's posting in the scum pt, hypothetically. Regardless of her partners she's a logical scum player. I can't picture how she would be diarying through our conversation and I think the pacing indicates her frustrations were very earnest.
