I know it's not necessarily the same idea AT ALl, but here's what we had (excerpt from the scum PT in Kuroi's game)

Subject: Death Note Mafia - I Am Justice (Scum Chat)

Greetings. You're all scum.

If you're going to use the Shinigami Eyes (which I don't see why not, Misa already has the eyes) that needs to be used during the day phase. At night, you need to mention both the name and the face for it to work.

For those of you who are not Misa, you can make the Shinigami Eye Deal: If you message me during the day phase and make the deal with me, each day phase, you can message me for the character/flavor name of one player, and I will give it to you. This works as long as that player is not wearing a mask that covers their face. However, if you manage to get the flavor name of someone with a black mask, that person can still die.

The price for the Shinigami Eyes is... death after three days. For example, if you make this deal on Day One, you will die at the end of Night Three.

So, basically if Shinigami Eyes are already active and is a day ability, chances are that scum already have at least one name (flavor) of a player.

I fully expect everyone that was in that previous game that mislynched RCE d1 to see the worlds of difference in play and tone here. Lets make with the wagon, or ill have your reasons for disagreeing.

I... didn't actually read RCE last game, so if some handholding is possible...

I noted the SK possibility in our hydra PT, FWIW, but that makes EvenRyuk even more important to keep around, not less. An SK who claims D1 is inherently townsiding and it's not a mafia claim in a game without multiple kills which should become obvious as the game goes on.

What I've gotten from the mechanics talk is mechanics is almost certainly behaviour indicative with the number of people who believe that, but beyond that the opinions are so different on what's likely happening that it's probably not consistent. It feels like too many differing guesses from everyone for it to be concerted scum manipulations.

Wanting to conceal stuff looks town, cos it would be so easy to coast with the mechanics talk right now, but I'm not sure the more out there plans are necessarily scummy if they can be justified.

Honestly I find Mikan's getting people to reveal 'hoods to be the grossest part of the mechanics talk. Vorkuta is so out there with his idea that it seems super bold as scum to push it.
