The Texas math comment made me laugh. It was just so much fun.

Uhm, you
can
use random dice to generate a circle...

I was reading someone saying that they wanted to do a circle based on the mod's line up.

I'm going to be V/LA from now until the 6th when I return. I support either the line dance plan or the circle jerk plan, whichever mathematically gives us the best chance.

sorry for not mentioning my V/LA earlier. I'll be back and read up immediately then.

Thank you for informin' me. Ah'm not gonna have to git out Ol' Sparky, the cattle prod.

Mod note: If y'all are gonna pull a disappearin' act this weekend, ah'm gonna excuse it, seein' as it is a holiday. Therefore, there shall be no proddin' til the 9th

Ah, your post gave me the impression that you thought the circle method and random dice were mutually exclusive.

The pairings give better odds than the circle method, anyway.

Random shooting all the way! I fully support a slaughter fest during the night phase. But I agree that random is better than the circle method. There are far too many Mafia games I've been in when Mafia are clumped together order wise.

Okay, then, is there any objection to using the random pairs that I posted earlier?

I just did 100 test trials of the pair method on random.org. My results were:

Town won: 72 times
Scum won: 28 times

The Fonz said the town's chances of winning were 73%. Needless to say, the results match the math. This totally pwns the circle method.

I support this, and I conclude that Texas Justice is biased towards town.

Unvote
Vote: No Lynch

Here's the list again.

ClockworkRuse & Dcorbe
Light-Kun & Iron Man
farside22 & Crazy
somestrangeflea & Linehouse
Sun Tzu & The Fonz
Tom & ashmite84

If we go through with this plan, and it looks like we will,
everyone will use their one shot to kill the person you are paired with
. For example, I will kill farside and she will kill me. The town will win unless if two scum are paired together. The chance of that happening is only 27%.

First of all, are there any people here that we have to worry are inactive? I'd hate to see this ruined by a vig that didn't use their shot.

Dcorbe and Sun Tzu may also be missing, although I'm not sure.

We're currently at L-2, so I suggest nobody vote until they all confirm their presence.
