but in that game i felt like tictac was infinitely more active
in terms of post counts too (mostly NAI i think), but more like pushing on ppl and trying to get answers to questions and stuff
this game feels a lot more reactive and lacks the active pushing stuff and i feel like that's how tictac would play as scum
i guess it could be that this is a larger game? i'll try to find something else to compare w/

His claims are always "NAI" in a way, no matter what they are.
But THE NEED he apparently felt to claim...that pinged me quite hard.
I have no idea why he would've been wary of a lynch coming his way that early in the game, especially considering his abilities as a player.
Felt like a miscalculation to me, and I think it might have something to do with how I'm still wary of Maria and Gamma too.
Assuming a scum-PT with daytalk(?) Boon might have been pushing for a gambit.

And the "pressure" I wanted to put on him early, even before the claim, is just something I think ought to be done towards players of his caliber.
If we just let them be, they can play their game their way, and then it's could get difficult for the rest of us to sort/lynch them.

I don't get how you went from being on the fence about him with leaning rather town to thinking he would be an ok lynch when you just thought he might be town. Yeah, you almost answered your own question there.
I think it's still up in the air, whether tictoctactuc is a lynchbait - designated by scum, or scum whose teammates wanted to create a wagon there for reasons X and Y. Ehh.

A) only works on scum (assuming he is town, ofc, for the theoretical guilties we are discussing here)
B) ANNOUNCES ITSELF to the target.
Meaning that in the scenario where he lands it on scum, not one scum would ever admit to getting an announcement from Boon.
Meaning that the role would always result in a 1 for 1 trade, or make the game a "follow the cop" assuming we have a protective.
Meaning that in the scenario of a "hard guilty" Boon is always going to sacrifice himself.
Fine.

Now tell me - Why would he ever fully claim that role with the modifiers he has?

I'd argue that IF that role is accurate, Boon is more likely just scum.
