If he didn't know BBMolla's alignment he'd need to know whether BBMolla can produce ostensibly town reasoning or can only produce swiss cheese reasoning as the "why", and that dichotomy would provide information on BBMolla's alignment.

Since he already knows BBMolla's alignment this is unnecessary and his time is better served making sure BBMolla's vote itself is viewed as wrongful and doesn't pick up steam and lynch bob (which is disproportionately important to a scum!bob)

A) he's been wagon-hopping. As each of {bob, you, and wake} have been considered scummy by groups of other people, he's joined each of those wagons. It makes it look like he's just trying to join thr latest cool wagon and give it some momentum
