But they don't know who's in what groups unless there's a scum in them. We already know that an ability existed last night that publicized a group's abilities. Claiming who's in what groups gives them a roadmap as to who they should prioritize should they find out other group abilities.

Players A B C and Fuckwad claim to all be in group Sitting Ducks.

Scum uses an ability to find out to find out what the Sitting Ducks do. And it's a good one. So they start killing off that group. Or they know who to play against one another to fuck with that group ability and they know who to pocket.

They already know the makeups of the groups they're in. Why the fuck does it help the town to just fill the blanks in for the scum team?

2) How did I go from your hardest TR to "lean town"?

1- I don't agree with a lot of FlavorLeaf's stances on some things, but I do think they come from a mostly town mindset. I still don't like the idea of outting neighborhoods and that brings him down a peg. Vex is town because I fucking said so.

2- I actually read the game in the time between those two posts. Oh no, you dropped down just very slightly. The horror.

I think FL is skirting around, kuribo is lol pushing EP to get FL last man
standing ability (as he overreacted to elements) and nomnom is taking the same approach she has taken with elements and not getting her feet warm in the most hot wagon of the day that it's not me.

In the hood I made clear that I was commuting Ank. I think that a scum team outside of nomnom/FL especially would kill either me to frame them or Ank because she would have such a good solve by TR both of them/me.

They killed Fark that was lukewarm about nomnom, FL, Gamma, Ank and that the NK wouldn't make a nomnom/FL team look bad.

I don't see Ank as scum here so the most reasonable deduction is that it's probably FL/nomnom. Alternatively almost all the scum team is in the lurkers but I think I would go with the first guess.

So my team and I have had a discussion and they feel I've gotten way to toxic tonight. Pine especially was upset that while all pissy, I twisted his words in a mean way toward pops, because he respects pops very highly as a player. they reminded me that even if I don't care about my own reputation, that Team Mafia involves three other people. They also said that my reads get really shitty when I'm pissed off and that scum tends to just sit back and watch me cannibalize entire games while I'm filling them with hate. They reminded me that being pissed off is no reason to burn bridges with people I like. Or with strangers for that matter. And finally, they've further reminded me that I've put a lot of effort into trying to not be an asshole lately during games and that the old ways aren't acceptable anymore to other players, to site moderation, or even to myself. They even quoted multiple instances of the remorse I've felt over the years for being mean to people and reminded me did I really wanna have to go down that road yet again.

In the spirit of this being a team effort, and in taking what's probably a good suggestion for my own well-being as well, I've agreed to calm the fuck down and step away from the thread for a bit until my shitty sleepless weekend is over with and then come back here without being a complete dick.

Pine especially was upset that while all pissy, I twisted his words in a mean way toward pops, because he respects pops very highly as a player. they reminded me that even if I don't care about my own reputation, that Team Mafia involves three other people. They also said that my reads get really shitty when I'm pissed off and that scum tends to just sit back and watch me cannibalize entire games while I'm filling them with hate. They reminded me that being pissed off is no reason to burn bridges with people I like. Or with strangers for that matter. And finally, they've further reminded me that I've put a lot of effort into trying to not be an asshole lately during games and that the old ways aren't acceptable anymore to other players, to site moderation, or even to myself. They even quoted multiple instances of the remorse I've felt over the years for being mean to people and reminded me did I really wanna have to go down that road yet again.

In the spirit of this being a team effort, and in taking what's probably a good suggestion for my own well-being as well, I've agreed to calm the fuck down and step away from the thread for a bit until my shitty sleepless weekend is over with and then come back here without being a complete dick.

I honestly think nom is scum. I think that her posts are designed to make herself look town. I think her posting after the final vote on Day 2 and her posting about the kill Day 3 are scum pretending to have been convinced that Volxen was scum.

I've come around to thinking that kuribo doesn't actually care about the (game-related) things that he is saying. I think that he's pretending to have stronger opinions about things than what he actually does. For example, the Volxen scumread yesterday. Whatever he's been talking about today, I honestly forget. It all seems like white noise to me and is not as town goal-directed as I would expect from kuribo.

In the course of this game I've had to deal with:

A nasty upper respiratory infection

Some dumb fuck scumreading me for reporting a cheater

Another dumb fuck challenging me on a long standing policy of mine

Some dumb fucks challenging me about the death of a third party. That motherfucker wasn't scum, but he damn sure wasn't town and I'll not mourn him or be sorry for him dying.

Some dumb fuck trolling me and my team across multiple games

Another dumb fuck making me voteless because it would be "funny"

Yet another dumb fuck saying that I can't possibly be pissed off over any of this

My team repeatedly telling me to calm the fuck down

All this in a game where I had to be talked into joining TM2020 in the first damn place because it's always a circlejerk of nimrods

I have two that I'd vote for personal reasons, Firebringer and chenn. FB might well be scum, but I don't care enough to find out because I'm pissed that he's bringing RC and bitmap's toxic ass trolling into the game. RC and I particularly don't like one another and lynching his teammate would be Fucking orgasmic. Chenn irritates the hell out of me between calling me scum for reporting elements and calling me scum for lynching what turned out to be a third party especially after dropping the hammer himself. If y'all killed off either of them, I wouldn't mourn for two seconds.

Eventually as usual I'd calm down and start trying to lynch scum instead of pissing all over the game and stringing people up for arguing with me. I'd vote either DEB or davesaz for starters, at least until I had time to look back at the sidelines of the voxlen lynch. I don't see it the same way as a lot of people, I think scum avoids that wagon thinking it's an easy enough "mislynch" to let town push through. I'd look at the people that avoided the wagon, especially when no one could explain why the slot was town, and then jumped to criticizing the wagon after it flipped third party.

I wouldn't call it a hard disagree. My problem with the idea of scum pushing volxen is that a number of my townreads were on that wagon and I have to do a deeper analysis and thought process to avoid being pocketed. Ego-wise, it's just the easy way out for me to look off-wagon, especially considering I'm voteless anyway. Probably not the best answer, but it's the truth.

Town reads being on that wagon doesn't ring as many alarm bells because it was a righteous wagon to begin with, and I'll never be convinced otherwise. And you know some shit? If creature had just claimed Vivor when he replaced in at L-1, I'd have come off him. 3P hunting isn't beneficial on Day 2, get some scum roped before you start figuring out which thirds need to die. But no, he had to get cute and wait for the hammer and troll the town.

The voteless and the two replacees were the only ones not voting anyway, so their lack of votes is NAI. I didn't like the counterwagon against nom, and I still don't like it in hindsight.
