This is simply a classic. An artist singing about how his home province is the best place he knows. And surprisingly people from other provinces enjoyed it enough that it got rated so high.

Look, there are 3 other threads for that. This is for the song contest and the song contest only. I'm sure a lot of us have stuff saved up that we want to share. A lot of us have and will miss contests in the future, but we don't post a pile of songs and beg for others to listen to them because we aren't immature and have some respect for the process. Comments like these are the reason I want to leave this forum and start a new life. Seems like I'm the only person that believes in the fact I can change and will change and can leave the past behind. Seems like you forgot about the past. You should've known what phase I'm going through yet you both side up in humiliating me and insulting me.

3. Me and Vi "siding up" against someone is probably the least likely occurrence out of any possible occurrence on this website.

I don't know or care what your "past", I simply think that you should show respect for the thread/the people in it and not act in ways that undermine it, regardless of whether you are going on a break or whatever is going on with you. Being in a "phase" or a bad state of mind doesn't exempt you from social mores or exempt you from being called out for not following those social mores.

If you feel humiliated or insulted, it's probably because you acted in ways that are humiliating and/or worthy of insult. Please delete your posts and enjoy your vacation.

I simply wanted to share a few songs regardless of whether people were going to listen to them and posted them here because this thread is about songs. Please tell me where I didn't show respect to others. I feel not respected by the comments you make.
Oh, and blaming me for YOUR reactions is such an innocent statement to make. Saying you don't care about how I feel also shows no respect from YOUR side. I'm offended how you think it's righteous for you to say these things. I never meant to insult others but what do you do?

This thread isn't about sharing your music. It's about playing song contest, aka sharing music WITHIN THE ESTABLISHED FRAMEWORK. A framework, as vi stated, that you have consistently shirked half the responsibility of. There are several other threads, that I would link you if I weren't mobile, that are explicitly for sharing music outside of this explicitly defined framework. (Before you mention it, yes, other people have done it, but they do it less often and less obnoxiously than you)

By sharing songs outside of the context of a song contest in this thread, you're undermining the contest itself, which shows a lack of respect for Tool and the other participants. Essentially jumping the line.

I have never once blamed anyone for my actions or reactions. Not here, not anywhere else on this site, and not in my personal life.

What about people who plan to vote but don't submit songs? I get that it's different but it's kind of weird when people keep doing it.

Also theoretically there is a contest maximum, we just haven't hit it in a few years. So it allows people to be engaged even if they don't get to enter.

Nah. Math rock is used to describe stuff that has weird time signatures or a periodically changing time signature. It is a cousin of progressive rock, basically a subgenre that's forefathers are Rush and King Crimson.

Butt rock is rock that sounds like butt. Basically it's post grunge, or other variations of that like..late 90s to late aughts style of radio rock that mostly the bad white people like.

I don’t think this game’s soundtrack had a ton of actual, like, songs from what I can remember though? I’m gonna submit a video game soundtrack song next contest so this is a good example for me of what not to submit.
