General Rules/Game Etiquette

1. Obey all site-wide rules. We should all know this by now, right? Right?
   
2. Talking outside of the thread about this game is forbidden. The only way you're allowed to is if your role gives you permission to a PT. If that's the case, you may talk about the game in there.
   
3. Quoting any private communications in the thread isn't allowed either. You're allowed to quote it in any PTs you have access to, just not the main thread.
   
4. Flavor may not be merely flavor in this game. Flavor may have significant impact on the game. It's up to you to determine if that's the case however.
   
5. Follow the golden rule, (do unto others as you would have them do unto you), at all times. I understand mafia can get heated, but keep it civil.
   
6. If you can somehow edit/delete your posts, don't. If I find out you did, then I'll have to figure out exactly what I do next, and it'll probably result in a reroll.
   
7. Play towards your win-condition at all times. Don't gamethrow.
   
8. I reserve the right to update these rules as I see fit. Rule updates will be announced publicly in thread.

Activity/Prods and V/LA

1. At least once every 48 hours, you
   must post relevant, game-advancing content,
   otherwise you will be prodded.
   
2. If you actually post literally once every 48 hours, I reserve the right to change your prod-timer to be 24hrs.
   
3. If you accumulate three prods OR you do not reply within 24hrs of the prod, you will be replaced.
   
4. Prodges will delay the prod-timer for 24hrs.
   
5. If you are V/LA, prods will come every 72 hours.
   
6. All V/LAs must be declared in thread, or via the V/LA tags.
   
7. If you will have an excessively long V/LA or will not have regular access to the internet/forums, please request replacement instead.
   
8. Saturday and Sunday are both counted to be 12hrs long, for sake of prods.

Deadlines/Player Actions

1. Unless told otherwise, each day will last two weeks, and each night will last two days.
   
2. If the day/night is extended for any reason, I will post that in thread.
   
3. If you possess any actions, you must submit it to
   me
   otherwise it will be treated as if you took no action.
   
4. If you may target multiple people, you must specify which action targets which player, otherwise I will disregard them.

Voting

1. A simple majority is required to lynch, (half the player list, rounded down, plus one).
   
2. No-Lynch requires a simple majority if the number of living players is odd, and only half if the number is even.
   
3. If you are using an abbreviation of a player's name, please make sure we can understand who you are referring to. If we can't, it doesn't count.
   
4. If it looks like a vote, it is a vote.
   
5. Unvoting isn't required, but appreciated.
   
6. There is no plurality, and if you don't lynch someone by deadline, nobody gets lynched.
   
7. If you have multiple votes, your oldest vote is changed before the newer ones.

Setup Specific Rules

1. There is guarenteed to be at least five (5) Town-Aligned players, two (2) Mafia-Aligned players, and one (1) Cult-Aligned player.
   
2. All PTs have daytalk enabled.
   
3. Lynchers and Jesters do not automatically end the game if they win.
   
4. Cults cannot recruit informed scum. (Eg. Mafia cannot be recruited, but Serial Killers can.)
   
5. If a Lyncher's target is night-killed, they become a Neutral Survivor instead.
   
6. Special Events will occur every day, and last the entire day, unless specified otherwise.
   
7. The game is guaranteed to be role-madness, with one Vanilla Town role.
   
8. Korina is unlynchable.
   
9. chkflip is unkillable.
   
10. All players are allowed to submit a Last Will that will be shown in case they die. Last Wills must have the subject line of "EISAL v2 Last Will" or something to that effect for it to be counted, and they have a character limit of 1,500 characters.
    
11. All players are allowed seven (7) whispers per day. The subject line must be "EISAL v2 Whisper to (Name)" or something to that effect to be counted. Whispers have a 750 character limit.

He silently looked over his shoulder, trying to ensure nobody was watching—much less following—him into the dingy alleyway. As quick as a flash, the shadowy figure silently opened a door and slipped inside, the faintest tip of a yellow tail visible as they did. Inside the room, a constant, staccato sound—the one of a ping-pong ball hitting the table—filled the air. He couldn't see who it was, but he knew who they were.

"Hey, I have a question for you..." they asked.

"What?"

"I know you aren't obligated to, seeing as you got your own goals and whatnot, but would you considering siding with me, should it come to that?"

The sound stopped. "Yes."

The figure nodded. "Good. I'll also go tell them we're getting ready to start."

"Hey, before you go, take this." The sound echoed through the room once again before the first figure caught a small, white ball. It was a ping-pong ball. "Good luck out there."

"You as well."

And without another word, the figures parted ways.

Due to posting issues under TrueSoulHustler, TrueSoulEnergy and MafMen are temporarily allowed to play under their mains until the problem is resolved. Additionally, the trial ending in this manor is considered to have the person on trial being found innocent by nobody voting. Dayvigs reset all votes, and a dayvig will forcibly end a trial; therefore, they're found innocent because nobody voted and they would not gain lynchproof.

As if seemingly by command, the bailiff—someone wearing a full plague-doctor uniform—took the box from the Jurist leader's hands and handed it to The Most Honorable Judge Korina. He nodded, before slowly, deliberately opening the box. He gave all of you a sly smile as he flipped the box upside-down. Several slips of folded paper fluttered out as he set the box down.

Pulling out a pair of glasses from somewhere, The Most Honorable Judge and Executioner, Korina, slowly unfolded one of the sheets, held it up to his face, adjusted his glasses and set it off to the side only to repeat the process anew. After about five of them, you suddenly heard someone call out "Hurry up already! You're taking too long!"

Korina looked up at the crowd, a displeased look on his face. "Fine," he muttered, unfolding the sheets at a marginally faster rate than before. Once all the sheets were unfolded, he turned to stare at Minstrel. "I'm ready to hand down the verdict," he solemnly announced. "Minstrel is... NOT GUILTY!" he announced whilst banging his gavel. Not really liking Hectic's vote on me, I feel like he could've focused on literally anyone else, I was gone for a few months. I feel like he wanted to impress me somehow by voting me. It doesn't have the sort of RVS vibe to it.

I've also only played one game with Hectic, so him saying that makes me roll my eyes in my head.

Chemist reply reminds me of a game where he was scum. Or maybe it was town. But him reacting like that to my question I also found weird. Maybe less of an actual scum read on Chemist because I think he's more likely to just not focus much on RVS posts, but definitely something to consider.

Iconeum's progression barely makes any sense, unless that initial post was a joke. Which I presume to be semi-serious, given the back track in his next post.

My interpretation of that is that he scum read Menstral / had a gut ping / some form of suspicion, saw the trial on him, thought "Wow, ok, nice". Instead of actually checking on it at first, he thought it was a good idea, but then he looks at the Jury slot and thinks "Hmm, this is shady". The jury literally just announced that Menstral was on trial, I don't see how "Good, trial time" is followed by "Meh but that slot is weird", on a slot that gave you what you...wanted. Seems like a scum backtracking, looking to react to stuff, not having any actual stance on anybody yet.

So, to me it kinda comes off as genuine? I kinda got vibes of Newbie 1949 from his posting, specifically Korina v Mena. Outside of that, I feel like Mena's frustration about people trying to seriously solve a non-serious game is also valid; although, I feel it's more likely to come from scum than town. Personally, considering insomnia's flip, I don't really feel like AGAAR becomes

that

much scummier after it. I kinda skimmed insomnia's ISO, and I don't feel like it's overwhelmingly scummy, but also not overwhelmingly townie either. I could see Mena seeing insomnia as scum and pushing them because of that.

The other thing I do wanna look at is how quickly AGAAR got four votes on them. I don't think in this type of game, four townies all agree to push someone like that. It's confirmed mafia/cult multiball, and possibly other scum factions, so I feel like it's very feasible that multiple scum are pushing them, which leads me to believe AGAAR is townie by extension? I'm not really sure. I'm just really concerned about the fact that my dayvig got redirected to insomnia.

I also wanted to ask about how you choose your kills (dayvig) and recruits (if you have a say on the matter).. etc. Like, you already know everything, so if it's not randomized I'd say there is no point trying to defeat the cult anyway. (Remember, it's my first time playing in an EISAL setup, and I don't think I have ever played a game with someone who was also modding the game before).

While I won’t go into the details on my loss condition, the tl;dr is that it’s effectively a white flag. If I’m the only cultist left X amount of times, I cannot recruit, where X is a number greater than zero, but less than ten. I can assure you that my white flag does not trigger if I’m the only cultist left alive once.

Actually, you’re right on that. My abilities are determined by the others in the cult or randed, unless it’s obvious who Player!Me would target. With the dayvig, it was obvious who I’d target for that. When it comes down to recruitments however, the other cultists will tell me who to recruit.

Also, supposedly the mod failed to send me something regarding my dayvig shot, and I've learned why my shot got changed to insomnia:
1) Apparently someone or multiple people have the ability to forcibly make me take an action I possess.
2) Whoever it was forcibly made me shoot insomnia.
3) I was supposed to get a notification telling me that I had to forcibly shoot insomnia; however, it got lost somewhere and it wasn't sent.
