From what I can tell, the trial required a vote to start. Meaning more then one player voted to trial Minstrel. At this point in the game I'm fairly certain there aren't any town reasons to do a trial on a player.

My point is more that we shouldn't end the day this early. If we could abstain I'd go for that but the risk of scum forcing our lynch is too high. I'm not saying Minstrel is town. I'm just saying we can't risk ending the day this early and going into day 2 when not everyone has even posted (I think. I might be wrong there.)

you do realize town wins faster games right? dicking around and making the game unreadable with a bloated RVS with a million people is wildly anti-town. you don't think minstrel is scum, fair enough, explain why, but arguing that you should waste the next day and a half arguing he should be inno'd off policy is weaksauce

Ending Day 1 within 48 hours of it starting is not a good idea, ObviousScum. The game has moved out of RVS so the Trial has served its purpose, but please stop trying to convince anyone that a 48 hour Day 1 is good for the overall health of the town.

I'm not saying we *must* end the day, I'm saying people should bother to sort the slot rather than taking innoing as a categorical necessity. Why are you indifferent to him backpedaling on a claim, joke or not? He basically joked about being a survivor/quasi-VT and now you and rauth seem to be saying to policy-inno him without really trying to sort him

Seems like we've moved out of RVS so why are you giving people permission to stall off policy?

I'll also say that I'm one of the major reasons why Minstrel is on trial. I joked about how funny it'd be if we put someone on trial within the first IRL day, and Minstrel just happened to be the unlucky soul we picked.
