Let’s all vote for him

I don’t think I’ve done anything alignment indicative yet so it’s impossible for him to have caught me already!
Haha GOT YOU.

This was a reaction test and you failed. I didn’t believe you are scum but now I 169% believe you are.

"Mess up"?

I think the most likely scenario for a hood with scum and a townie is that scum pockets the townie, not anything else.
But what about two townies?

I appreciate the skepticism, I think it reads town. But we are being given a tool, we might as well use it.

And yes, mess up. Generally when I’m Mafia with a town PT I feel much more pressured because the spotlight is on me. That has to be compounded with two players trying to keep their story straight.

You’re right that there’s a bigger risk of pocketing, which is why I opted to have someone I thought was town early in the PT with me. Have you ever been in a neighborhood with a town hydra or like 3-4 townies? It allows you to flesh out reads more for sure. I absolutely love masons for this reason.

@Suji

Early amount of attention he’s drawing to himself + the way he was goofing around with me felt natural and not forced or awkward. Sometimes some people try to act lackadaisical and you can clearly tell they’re uncomfortable.

It’s a page 2-4 read, obviously it’s still early, but I feel good enough about it to vocalize it now.

I know and I just disagree.
You think mafia can pocket two people in a neighborhood? And that the risk of that outweighs the benefit of talking the game through with someone you think is town?

It's possible. When I've been scum I've found it easier to pocket people in hoods because there you don't have as many town to influence them, so your words matter more. Also you can use personal appeals more easily.
And you can "talk through the game" in the main thread, no?
I was able to pocket someone as scum in Balroom Blitz, but I have also used neighborhoods with town as checks on my reads. So I think it’s more of a trade off, one which I’m mitigating with trying to include an early townread

And I am talking in the main thread. I bet I have the highest post count. I’m not going to use the neighborhood as an excuse to slink off into inactivity and I’ll hold my neighbors accountable as well

This is a Townie post. The hydra is already kind of “in” with Menal and I. There’s not a lot of incentive to put this much effort into sorting as scum when you have a chance to pocket either Menal or I in the thread.

Do you think Heaven’s confidence is outside the realm of scum play SS? It seems more of a personality thing than an AI thing to me. If you boil his ISO down it’s mainly defensiveness.

No. I've been fooled by a few scum players before-- notably YOU-- doing a similar tactic. But it's something that most people don't do as scum, for the simple reason that most townies wouldn't let them get away with that.

Caveat: Heaven/CSF could easily be S/S.
LOL

The marathon nightless. Oh man.

Idk, I think it’s pretty easy to say “sorry you rolled scum” it also isn’t that definitive of a statement. You have plausible deniability to back and say you were blustering or joking.

I think a more driven-out, committed push would be town, but his play seems more reactive towards preservation than sorting to me.

I'm still trying to widdle down my lynchpool. It is down to (Suji/CSF/SS/Alyssa). The brief replace in of TSE from CSGF makes me feel alright about that vote, and HEaven's reaction to it makes me feel like it is fine to take him out of the lynchpool today.

What the hell

We just got a wagon going.

I’m trying to spur activity and you cut the wind out of my sails in 15 minutes.

I feel like you could have at least waited for a few reactions. I broke a four-way tie between wagons. That could have been valuable.

I don’t even think SS is a bad vote but your timing baffles me.

Literally anything, I don't care. I already tried to find things to talk about and didn't really succeed. I can try again if necessary but I'd rather talk about something other people also care about.
What do you think about TSE’s brief pop-in?

Maybe slightly towny? TSE did seem to be pretty invested in figuring out what was happening. Though there's no reason that couldn't come from scum, it's just slightly more likely town.
Oof that’s a no from me SS

To me it looks like someone more concerned about image than solving

I thought the military call for attention was ten-hut and referred to it as such up until my mid 20s.

How so?
I mean, look at the post. I don't know if it needs more explanation. It was asking why people were voting for him and what his predecessor did that was bad.
