I really don't see why their votes are so bad, so if you can explain I'd be glad.-

By going against the grain and soft-pushing the hard to lynch townies, and saying that lurker lynches are bad?In post 523, Conspire wrote:I don't think I like the idea of lurker lynches either.
Given they're the only cult slot in the game, why bother?- Farkran

I mean Esper did say he changed his mind when he referenced the first reason.
Also, they have a cult PT. I don't think they'd really be posting separately at all unless they wanted to, and if that was the case you'd not see the "emphasis to not look dissonant".- Auro

It really depends on who is in the hydra, but I'd estimate that more people would be afraid of appearing too dissonant as scum than otherwiseIn post 656, Auro wrote:I mean Esper did say he changed his mind when he referenced the first reason.

@Alyssa: If they're afraid of appearing dissonant, they'd plan their trajectories in the cult PT first.
@Farkan: Replace 'lynch' with 'push' - there's going to be a lot of pushback if someone tries to lead a push on Alyssa/You/Me/Slaxx etc; and I'd think it's much easier to coast while pushing a slot like Homura. I agree that Alyssa was a convenient vote for a while, but they seem to have stuck with it even after the general thread consensus seemed to change.-

I don't feel like Homura would be a coastable push though. Remember how Alyssa was going like "cult hasn't posted yet" when the last slot to speak was exactly homura and nobody picked that upFarkran is back poggers-Alisae- Auro

I mean we wouldn't see so much of the early "posting separately" dissonance (like post 272) then and they'd be consistently non-dissonant from the beginning- Auro

I mean that nobody actually pushed there until she actually spoke, and even then the wagon dropped almost immediatelyIn post 666, Auro wrote:

They're posting like they're separate heads, but their dissonance is weirdly low for that
And it's not like there's a dominant head either, both have been posting with roughly the same tone- Auro

Sure, Alyssa, but Esper clearly stated that he "changed his mind". If they were trying to appear solvey and non-dissonant there are ways to do it more naturally without explicitly just saying so.- Auro

What would the former argument imply? In post 668, Farkran wrote:I mean that nobody actually pushed there until she actually spoke, and even then the wagon dropped almost immediately
Well, the latter seems a bit post-hoc-y, no?- Farkran

That i don't think Homura is a coastable push based on what happened? In post 671, Auro wrote:

What does post-hoc-y mean?
Anyways, i don't think the dissonance is strongly AI for the Conspire slot unless you are also familiar with the two heads and you know them to do that. For me, it's the first time playing with them, but if i were in a hydra with anyone else i would talk a lot with my paired head, taking notes in our PT, etc - unless we were scum, because in that scenario i would post notes and thoughts in the scum PT instead of the hydra. The resulting effect would be harmonic posting because we agree on our reads/strategy to push mislynches, or the opposite because we disagree, as any alignment - so, i guess the dissonance argument would be more useful to sort those speaking about it rather than the topic in question, and i believe Auro comes out townier on that, while Alyssacouldbe paving a trajectory path to vote/hammer her counterwagon as today's lynch?
I mean, the argument is valid for both sides, but in my mind Alyssa vs Conspire looks better for Alyssa rnFarkran is back poggers-Alisae-

I noticed. I feel like our playstyles are clashing by nature and i tend to scumread you more than you deserve, but that doesn't make you conftownIn post 673, Alyssa The Lamb wrote:Just fyi farkran
I tend to play stereotypically town as scum and stereotypically scum as town
Make of that what you will
Also i have a semi-explicited tinfoil argument that lamistiness in this game has ultrahigh chance to flip non-cultFarkran is back poggers-Alisae - Farkran
