I don't like how a chkflip led wagon took off. I also don't like the timing that it happened right after the accusations of misrepping him. I feel stuck though because without more from Vecna, it seems to be the right play. My role suggests to me lynching Vecna might be wrong. No matter what answer I pick it feels wrong.

So you think chkflip might be scum for other reasons, and since he started the wagon and it took off, it makes the wagon bad. I'd think the people joining in the wagon have a proportionaely increased chance of being town>scum but that's not really worth discussing, I think.

chkflips's 1350 feels like an overreaction, and looks a little too "constructed" for an emotional post if you know what I mean. 1355 makes it a lot less scummy though.

Esper and I have discussed Krazy Katz and we agree that Krazy has been a little more friendly/timid and less pushy than we're used to from his town game. That's solely on tone though, his actions otherwise feel towny.

Fonz with good scumhunting on Dave. Dave is a little scummy for 1368 and now confidently declaring that Vecna is scum; I don't see the logic behind why the role can't be town at all.

1373 is towny in how it's such an obviously contradicting opinion which is surface level scummy, but he doesn't feel the need to justify it or present it nicer, which actually makes it towny.

So your stance is that lynching Vecna is suboptimal but you're happy to do it anyway?

No, what I mean is I think you are right about any millerizing and its effect on that balance of the game. But I also don't think vecna would be a mislynch.

Thanks for the introduction, Cosmic! Got up to page 30 of the boon game (skimmed a lot though). Chronos is my strongest townread from whatever happened back there (posts seem natural, can understand their push + extra: they seem very self aligned from everyone else's reactions). Titus/Jjh/Venus+mars look scummy. I feel like I'm wrong on at least one of them though because I'm not familiar with their playstyles (Post #738 seems genuine). Don't want to lynch Vecna. I thought about their role being third party/scum, but it really wouldn't make sense for them to shoot themselves in the foot like that against their wincon. Maybe the plague won't be so bad.

So Cosmic and I had a discussion about our takes in the game earlier and we're mostly on the same page except for Venus and Mars. Ngl, I found VM pretty scummy because my intial thoughts were: 1) i disagreed with a lot of their takes (please don't ask me to find them) 2) rolefishing and 3) the linked scumgame because it's pretty obvious she can do better; like, she doesn't even really post in that game, how are we supposed to gauge anything from that? Also a lot of the same reasons as chkflip here. Cosmic has played with Mars before though and convinced me her play is town off meta so eh.

Titus are you limited in how many items you can modify a night? How about number of items you can give?

Best move for town is to give all the SF to the same person so that other abilities are allowed to be targeted on everyone else. As it sits now most of us are untargetable by anything but kills, if the sticky fruit is the standard variety.

Someone apparently submitted N-split as a pick, and probably sticky fruit too. If town did this they were not being very smart at all. I'm betting it's scum. Unless Boon just showered us with fruit as a non-ability mechanic or something.

I don't think her getting a guilty necessarily meant Town 100% believed nom. There was no way Nom was confirmed, so trusting her was taking a leap of faith.

To be honest, I think Scum would want to be on the wagon, knowing the guilty is accurate. Town would want to spend a bit longer in a funky mech game trying to work out if there's an alternative explanation.

George, going from being the lynch to the next nightkill seems a little optimistic. You've essentially crumbled a really strong role there if town, given the fact scum knows that now and the deadline, I think you need to claim here.
