Informed roles generally flip e.g. "informed gunsmith", but very rarely flip with the actual information made public

Universal Backup inherits the role of the first PR of its faction to die--if a town deputy died first, a town UB would become a Deputy. (Which, yes, theoretically allows for their role to change twice, if there's a town UB, town deputy, and a town cop all in the game).

If a town UB and a deputy are in the game and the first role to die is a town cop, BOTH become a town cop.



A deputy, regardless of its alignment, becomes a cop upon the death of a cop, regardless of the alignment of the cop.

Commonly, this is town deputy/town cop, but a scum deputy becomes a cop upon the death of a town cop, and a town deputy becomes a cop upon the death of a scum cop.

A town universal backup will not inherit the role of a scum cop; a scum UB won't inherit the role of a town cop.

That clear things up?
