GAME RULES

(Adapted from northsidegal)

GENERAL

- Stick to the site rules.
- Play to win.
- Be careful in the way you treat other players - coming at other players personally is not allowed.
- Pretending to break the rules will be treated similarly as actually breaking the rules.
- Do not quote any private communication regarding this game—this includes your role PM, other mod communication, posts from private threads, etc. Paraphrasing is acceptable. If you're unsure, ask me first.
- If you need to get my attention, please include "

" in your post or PM me.

(#800000) is my color. You can use it, if you want, but I'd prefer you didn't.
- Do not use encryption, hidden text or excessively small text in your posts. >=70 is preferred.
- Do not use any form of provable randomness. This includes dice tags, screenshots of random.org, etc. Saying you flipped a coin is okay, providing some sort of proof that you did isn’t.
- Each day phase will last for 14 days, with night phases lasting 48 hours.
- Do not post in the game thread or any private topics following your death, with the exception of the dead thread.
- If you have the ability to edit your posts, do not do so.
- My decisions are final. If I feel you are violating any of the rules, I will take the appropriate action.
- As a general principle, whenever moderator action is required I will attempt to make the decision that has the least impact on the natural flow of gameplay. For example, force replacing instead of modkilling whenever possible.

VOTING

- All votes and unvotes must be in

bold

or in VOTE: tags, with vote tags being preferable.
- Votes in spoilers will not be counted.
- Abbreviations and nicknames are acceptable, as long as I can understand them.
- Lynches will occur when a majority (>50%) is reached. If no majority is reached before deadline, the day will end in a no-lynch
- Voting to end the day in a no-lynch requires only 50% of players rather than >50%.
- Once a hammer has occurred, the game is in "twilight". Discussion may continue until I lock the thread but no further votes or unvotes will be counted.

ACTIVITY

- You are expected to make at least one game-relevant post every 48 hours. Players who go 48 hours without posting will be prodded.
- If you are prodded, you have 24 hours to post in-thread. If you do not respond within 24 hours, you will be replaced. Additionally, if I have to prod you 3 or more times, I reserve the right to replace you at my own discretion.
- Abuse of prod dodges will result in you being replaced at my own discretion.
- If you are going to be V/LA, please announce it in thread or PM me. If your V/LA will last 7 days or longer I may be forced to replace you.

- If you do not send me an action for the night, I will assume that you are not taking one. Submitted actions can be changed until deadline.

I definitely enjoy the style of this film, particularly the longer shots, the absence of shaky cameras and quick cuts that avoid all the scenes. The time and attention paid to the small details that make each character stand out, and the quick, witty dialogue that sounds like the sort of conversation you could almost believe another human being would have and not the sort of sentences driven only by the necessity to convey information vital to the plot and the story. Films like this seem to stand in Stark

contrast to the Marvel films, where the stakes must be raised until they're so large and incomprehensible you do not feel at all for the characters or the situation they're in. Anyways, that's perhaps a few too many words from me to say that I'm glad you liked the movie!

Pokemon is a ridiculously popular game to the point that few have not heard of it, and when googling "Azelf," it was easily recognizable that the vote was intended for Something_Smart. "Firesneakers" is not a nickname I know anyone in this game by until this point. If interested parties would like to clarify their position as far as their vote, I'm willing to count it, but until then those votes will remain un-applied.

If this fails to adequately address your concerns (or if anyone in this game has further concerns), I'm plenty willing to discuss them further (or even via PM), but I really don't think there's anything wrong with writing posts like this as long as it's obviously satire. (I say this knowing that pops is going to start doing this for every post and make me regret it.)

They definitely did count when I could easily interpret them with a Google search. Something_Smart was lynched off of "joke" votes. Isis even implied the vote was real when she pursued Iconeum as scum due to his failure to follow it up.

That said I am never using a voting rule like that again.

Hectic and Kanna had incredible chemistry, but everyone had their moments. A few parts I thought were particularly funny was when Isis called out Hectic and Kanna for switching it up in the thread, or when Iconeum was scumreading Ame for signaling in the thread, but Ame was saying that scum wouldn't do that (even though the actual scum agreed to do that).

I'm pretty sure Mr Pink was the first one to propose an Iconeum Conspire scum team, but I never saw anything else from them on that front, it was all Ame from there.

Thanks! I'm sorry for my voting rules. I feel like I legitimately affected the game a bit more than I should, but I appreciate that my mishaps were put to good use! You played very well and it was quite intense at the end there. I feel as if I had to root for town as the underdogs.
