Rules:

4.Lurking: You will be prodded after 2 days of no substantial contribution(no prod dodging). After 24 hours of an unanswered prod I will search for a replacement(unless V/LA). Four prods in total, or two prods in one day will result in an instant replacement. ASK FOR REPLACEMENT IN A PM.
5.Vacation/Limited Access: Tell me when you are going to have limited access. If you have limited access, you will still count as having a prod after 3 days, and you will be instantly replaced after 5 days in total.
6.Weekend: For the purposes of prods and nights, Sunday and Saturday count as 12 hours each.
7.CHEATING:Cheating(breaking site rules, posting while dead, quoting Role PM's without explicit permission, encrypting posts without explicit permission, editing/deleting posts without explicit permission, doing anything obviously against the spirit of the rules) is forbidden. Don't do it.

Sorry for placing an IC in the same game as two millers. It was a dumb decision; the IC (normally, if dead Night 1) would have had no chance to positively influence the game, a synergistic effect I overlooked.

About the rest(balance, fun)... let`s talk about that if you want, here. Feedback is appreciated.

The setup speculation by some townies has been really bad. You seriously assumed that this setup, plus one goon, minus one VT... is balanced(well most of them not all). But that literally cannot pass the normal review because it would be extremely scumsided. I would not have been surprised much if you assumed a traitor, but three goons, really? You all should be experienced enough to know better. You still stubbornly looked for a full-fledged scumteam that was simply not existant.

I've been here 5 years and that was only the second 11:2 I've seen, and I play minis almost exclusively.

Yes, they do. To ensure that people don`t say "X is automatically scum because this role doesnt belong to town" when it is a town-allowed role, or similar things.

Yeah that`s very not normal; people expect normals to be balanced(it is super scumsided), and they expect power roles.

I don't think you should assume that there should be an X role if there is a Y role in the game.

IMO in a normal, it's reasonable to believe that there's some way that the role you drew could be conceivably used. I don't want to be an encryptor in a setup with no chance that could possibly be of use.

Actually, it is absolutely unreasonable to assume that the Encryptor part could ever be used; Ascetic prevents all actions that could lead to that.
A role can also be there because of rolecops if it is only permissible for town/non-town(e.g. the surviving miller here)
And lastly, a backup without any chance to backup because the role isnt there
