Based on the samples I have seen so far that does seem like what occured
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"

All players have finished drafting their Leader hands! The game begins!

It is now the Recruitment phase of Age I.
From your Leaders hand, select one Leader and take one of the following actions:
1) Recruit the Leader to your city in order to gain the effects listed on the Leader card, by paying the number of coins listed in the cost.
2) Discard the Leader to gain 3 Coins.
3) Use the Leader to build a Wonder stage, paying the required resources for the Wonder stage.

Please respond directly to the PM I sent. Players have (expired on 2020-06-04 12:01:28) to select a Leader to play.

Xtoxm look at my board I picked it special for you
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."

Does Stage D's effect take place once per turn or as many times if I want? Like, if I had no clay, could I build a building that requires clay, then pass left and draft and build another building that requires clay, or would I have to wait to the next age to use it again?

It’s basically once per card that you play so you can use it up to 6 times per age! You also don’t have to make the same resource every time, so on the first card you play in Age II you can use it to make clay (as long as your city doesn’t already have clay) and then on the second card you play in Age II you could change it to make paper (as long as your city doesn’t already have paper). The restrictions are basically just “make any resource” and “as long as it’s not already present in your city via raw material cards/manufactured goods cards/initial resources”

It is now Age I, Hand I! Hands in Age I will be passed to the left (up the player list). The first hands of Age I have been sent, and players now have (expired on 2020-06-04 23:15:31) to build a card, discard a card for 3 coins, or discard a card to build a Wonder stage. Please respond directly to the PM I sent you with your decision. If you need to buy a resource from a neighbor in order to build a card, please specify which neighbor you are buying from.

that's okay, you don't really need to! Although there's a lot of available depth to learn in terms of strategy, the only gameplay you actually need to know is "pick a card out of the ones I tell you you have enough money/resources to buy." I've also had friends who won the game their first time playing, and they went up against pretty experienced players.

it may look that way, but i disagree!
- you're passing to knightmare this round, so you control whether he can build military, and could use this to make up the shortage
- Caesar is a big investment for age I
- knightmares other neighbor, CM1, has made the very telegraphed science push with archimedes, and is unlikely to invest much in military. knightmare may consider a triple win over CM1 to be good value for a small number of shields, and not focus much on the other military front. conversely, if he does invest in a war with you, he's losing value on the other side with a redundant surplus

gl all! especially Isis!

I think that puts us at unanimously being okay with a reroll, so I will be shuffling Leaders and resending out new hands shortly. Thanks guys, and I apologize for the mistakes!

After quadruple checking all the Leader cards and updating some of the language to hopefully make them easier to understand, all new Leader hands have been sent. I will be continuing with the "go at your own pace" passing of cards, since the results of drafting are not public. There's no set deadline but if you haven't responded within 36 hours of my last PM I might poke you.

edit: Since I'm doing "go at your own pace," keep in mind that you won't be able to change your mind for this drafting phase once you've selected a card and I've read your PM, as I've likely already passed your hand to the next person.

The Leader draft is complete! We are moving into Age I Recruitment phase. Please indicate which Leader you would like to play, and whether you are recruiting them, discarding them for 3 coins, or using them to build a Wonder stage. If it's not clear from your language (eg if you just say "Play Lilith" or "I choose Lilith"), I will assume you mean you want to recruit your Leader. If you have already indicated which Leader you are playing, no need to do anything else right now.

It is now Age I, Hand VI!
This is the last hand of Age I.
Hands in Age I are passed to the left (up the player list). The last hands of Age I have been sent, and players now have (expired on 2020-06-16 18:13:29) to build a card, discard a card for 3 coins, or discard a card to build a Wonder stage. Please respond directly to the PM I sent you with your decision. If you need to buy a resource from a neighbor in order to build a card, please specify which neighbor you are buying from. Since it is the last round of Age I, the card you do not select will automatically be placed in the discard pile, but you will not gain 3 coins. After this hand, we will proceed directly into Age I military resolution phase, and then we will move into the Recruitment phase of Age II.
