Past few pages have been lots of bickering between NPOM and Sakura, with firebringer and Fredrick finally joining in. firebringer throws (personal) shade at Porkens and wants us to figure out who's the one person he's townreading, while Fredrick just has a lot of inquisitive questions regarding everyone else's reads (but hasn't actually posted any of his?).

Regarding NPOM and Sakura, the chatter was mostly useless, but I did get a strong feeling it was either TvT or SvT, I think a scum-coordinated argument like that would look a lot more doctored/polished if you get me? Not much else to point out regarding those two, will look in more specifics later and try to give a better read.

Fredrick and firebringers action strike some mild scum vibes here. Regarding Fredrick, their curious nature kind of invites me to think they're scum who wants people to feel they're participating without actually doing anything. firebringer's first few posts and shading at Porkens might just be scum wanting to mislynch with an excuse, though I would probably have to look at the meta's of the players to make more accurate reads, I think.

This is a difficult slot to read. I've mentioned prior that they tend to ask a lot of questions, but not really offer much in terms of reads or thoughts beyond that. Most of their posts are just short questions that, while you could argue that they are concise, to the point, and still subtly advance the gamestate, you could just as easily argue they're just scum that'd rather not post a lot and slip up, or would rather not get a very active role in the game. For now, this is a null read.

Not a very active slot, so not too much to go on, but I did notice their defensiveness in posts like 448 or 465. I think they're more likely to be town as that sort of defensive stance would be more subtle in scum, especially this early in the game where they'd probably rather not draw attention to themselves much anyways by being overdefensive or the like. Also, hard to put into exact words, but they do seem a bit carefree, when concerning gamesolving or reads, which is usually scum tell, but I think in this particular case or with how the rest of the slot matches together they'd opt to be more aggressive when reading if they were scum. So I have a town lean here.

Hard to read slot, again. A lot of their posts are just jokes or callbacks to previous games or whatever, which is completely fine but usually aren't of much help to advancing the gamestage or the day for that matter. However, it's all consistent throughout the game, and sometimes he does have some interesting toughts that I don't think would naturally come to scum. They latch onto firebringer starting from 535 and scumread them but I don't think it continues beyond 3-4 posts, 563 is also something I wouldn't expect scum to write. The reason for the read seems far too abstract that I don't think scum would decide to use it unless they were really desperate or something.

I like this slot, they're fairly active, and don't seem to be hiding their thoughts or anything of the sort. Nothing really strikes me as absurd in their reads, reasons, or overall gameplay. Pretty townie slot as a whole.

I think I neglected reading this role, primarily because they stopped being active later in the game. I don't really like their reads, they aren't consistent enough, and I don't like how quickly they jumped from reading NPOM as scum into thinking they were just clueless town. I also fancy this slot, posts like 324 don't really come from scum who'd rather just get anyone lynched and be over with it. I liked their scumread on firebringer, overall seems like a genuine/convincing read/reasoning here, although much of this kind of ends up based on gut and hunches more than anything else.

I don't really like this slot, it feels like they're just distracting everyone from gamesolving rather than trying to gamesolve themselves. Their wagon attempts don't make much sense if at all. They seem like they're trying to buddy all the active players as someone else said. I think there is a probable scum here.

Not a very active slot here either, but they just feel kind of poor to me. They have a decent mix of questioning, thinking out loud, and answering, but overall the tone of their posts is very... passive? It feels like they don't care much if at all what happens in the game, but are just reading for the sake of reading if anyone gets me. I would also like to see slightly more activity/thoughts from this slot.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I am a clown. But sometimes I still have feelings of trying to win the game albeit a bit inconsistently, and opening the gamethread to 200 new posts each time with lots of shitty wall posts drowned in between shit memes doesn't make those feelings very frequent. I really want to win the game, sometimes, but it's hard to do so when everything is so confusing and it seems like I am the only one who's really lost here. Everyone here is continuing on with the game as usual, building readlists, asking questions, etc... and I am here so utterly fucking confused as to everything that's going on in this game. Every, single, fucking, mafia game is the same for me: I don't understand what's happening beyond page 5, or 10, or 20, or just after a while. I was hopeful this game, because until around page 23-24 I think I had a pretty good grasp on my standings and my reads on everyone and their reads, their playstyle, etc... But alas, a few pages later and I am back to utter confusion.

So, I went ahead and checked the ISO of Drew-Sta in an attempt to understand the wagon. I think I feel a little more comfortable reading the wagon now.
It feels like their play is still fairly defensive more than anything else. I don't really see much focus on solving or even reading beyond that, most of it is just defense which is what's starting to irk me. They had one consistent read on Nor but that don't really emphasize any other reads or anything beyond that. I thought earlier the defensiveness could come from town seeing as it's more consistent/natural in their play, but at the same time, the lack of scumhunting or reading isn't good at all, so I am starting to get scum vibes a little from them. Furthermore, their points are sometimes nonsensical.

And that right there is an interesting post. Basically absolving Sakura from being mafia if FB flips scum. Why would you do that? How do you have any certainty that is the case?! It's a post of certainty, and I cannot understand how you can be so certain about them.

I could dig up more but the formatting is difficult for me to keep doing like that, but basically you keep making comments regarding other's votes and voting history and whatever as if simple 'your vote sucks!' posts matter to people at all. Re: Prokens wagon, I get the feeling Porkens can't really commit to anything? I ended up briefly looking at Frakan's posts/ISO. Overall I think they're quite good at putting their reads or ideas into words, probably wants to lead town somehow, seems to be desperately trying to get results out of the wagons and/or actions or reads in the game. Good stuff overall, but I wouldn't really say these confirm them as town (I think I've seen scum fake similar playstyles before, wouldn't want to tunnel myself into townreading them for the entire game). I will say that the insistence in getting a claim gets a little irritating, but I don't think scum would be as blatant especially with this playstyle I feel like they'd be a lot more subtle. Soft town lean for now.

I will go ahead and ask people for their thoughts on NPOM. I feel like we dropped the wagon early and never looked back even if we keep going back and forth on many other players. Is there a reason for that I am missing? Was there an obvious town-tell that I didn't notice?

Anyways, personal thoughts are that NPOM is basically taking the lazy route. They have like, two people they strongly believe to be town and is following their every move for no particular or obvious reason. All their posts are short, one liner kind of stuff that doesn't really add much in the game in terms of solving, or at all. I've had a pretty hefty scumread on them for a while but I didn't really find any proper time to post my thoughts because I was focused on catching up with everyone else.

What do you guys think, am I wrong? or am I just naive or something?

NGl this town looks hilarious, players constantly scumreading everyone and starting wagons then dropping them in less than three pages and going after other wagons before dissolving those and returning the first wagons and so on and so forth.

By having a strong tendancy to lynch and scumread, the town is so aggressive that it's surpassed the ability to lynch in and of itself. The wagoning phase is up and over so fast it never reaches the lynch status.

That was some poor logic. If you get a not VT, it doesn't mean they are scum. It only means they are not VT, which means that they may be a town power role or scum. Not a hundred percent confirmation.

A similar thing with my tracker result. I was weary of publishing it at first because it only meant the player visited the player who died last night. It didn't mean they were scum and Persivul may very well have not been. I only decided to publish my result at the last minute because I thought the game was solved. In that way, Mohab500's anti-town behavior influenced me to publish the result.
