It is now the
Recruitment phase of Age II
! I have resent everyone's most current Leader hands. Please select one Leader from your hand and indicate whether you will pay the cost to recruit the Leader to your city; discard the Leader for 3 Coins; or discard the card to build a Wonder stage (and pay the appropriate resources required for the Wonder stage as normal). You have (expired on 2020-06-17 13:45:10) to select a card to play.

All I could think about when I saw I didn't have enough coin to recruit my god this round was this video:

Show
"Getting lost in the details of nothing..."

"FF, you're a dick, but you don't hit below the belt. So you're a dick about finding scum, not hurting the people who are playing the game. That's acceptable dickary." MaryJoLisa

It is now Age II, Hand VI!
This is the last hand of Age II.
Hands have been passed to the right (down the player list). Players now have (expired on 2020-06-23 17:28:59) to build a card, discard a card for 3 coins, or discard a card to build a Wonder stage. Please respond directly to the PM I sent you with your decision. If you need to buy a resource from a neighbor in order to build a card, please specify which neighbor you are buying from.

Since it is the last round of Age II, the card you do not select will automatically be placed in the discard pile, but you will not gain 3 coins (unless you are CreativeMod1 in which case your Wonder allows you to play both cards). After this hand, we will proceed directly into Age II military resolution phase, and then we will move into the Recruitment phase of Age III.

no spoilers but my military strength will now be 9 and I will also have a special power to attack across the table
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"

Cards played in Age II, Hand VI
  • CreativeMod1 paid 1 Coin to build a
    Quarry
, which produces 2 Stone per turn. Since he has built the second Wonder stage of Babylon B, he can also play the other card in his hand. CreativeMod1 discarded a card and bought 1 Paper from Knightmare491 for 2 Coins to build the final Wonder stage of Babylon B, which gives him an extra scientific symbol of his choice at the end of the game.
  • Knightmare491 built a
    Vineyard
, and gains 1 Coin for each raw material built by him and his, up to and including this turn, for a total of 9 Coins.
  • enomis discarded a card for 3 Coins.
  • Formerfish bought 1 Ore from each neighbor for a total of 2 Coins and built a
    Training Ground
, which gives 2 Shields. He then immediately gains back 2 Coins from the bank for purchasing from both of his neighbors this turn.
  • farside22 bought 2 Stone from Formerfish for 2 Coins and built
    Walls
    , which give 2 Shields.
  • Xtoxm bought 1 Cloth from Isis for 1 Coin and built the second Wonder stage of Roma B, which gives 3 Victory Points and allows him to recruit an additional Leader immediately. He then paid 2 Coins after his Wonder discount to recruit
    Hypatia
, who gives 1 additional Victory Point at the end of the game for each Scientific card built in his city.
  • Isis built a
    School
, which gives a Tablet symbol.

It is now the
Recruitment phase of Age III
This is the last Recruitment phase of the game, so the Leader you do not select this turn will never be played (unless you're Xtoxm and can recruit Leaders outside of recruitment phases). You have (expired on 2020-06-24 15:30:32) to select a card to play.

"Isis built a School, which gives a Tablet symbol." this makes me happy
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."

Well, Isis has the best wonder in the game so...

Yeah.
I initially thought this expansion was good, but what it does is make the game more luck based rather than strategy based. Wouldn't wanna play with this expansion again.

I don't really understand

I've never played this game before. Six points is a lot?

Yes, it's an extra turn worth of points in age 3.
