I would prefer not to have a default card revealed. Also is there a rule preventing us from revealing the same card to someone a second time if we have the option of revealing a new card? (ie do we always have to reveal a new card if possible)

I agree with allowing the update to go through, since it would be similar to someone deciding which card to show in the real game which does occur after the suggestion.

My concern with the auto-reveal order is that my order is likely to be different depending whose turn it is? and so i’d be pming you after almost every person’s turn to update my order for that specific person on the off chance that the suggestion comes to me to reveal a card. isn’t it easier to just have me select which card i want to be revealed?

Rulebook says no to both:
"As soon as you enter a room, stop moving. It doesn't matter if you roll a number that's higher than you need to enter."
"If yours was the Suspect transferred [ie you were moved into a room and can therefore make a guess in that room without leaving it], you may, on your next turn, do one of two things: Move from the room in one of the usual ways OR Make a Suggestion for that room. If you decide to make a Suggestion, do not roll the die or move your token."
