To speed up the game, would it make more sense to make the revealing of card automatic?(This may be suboptimal strategy for the player revealing if he has 2 cards(Not very often) but will speed up the game alot)

E.g.
If Person A guess Scarlet,Revolver,Kitchen and Person B and Scarlet and Revolver, The mod will randomly choose between Scarlet and Revolver to reveal.
(the mod will pm the person revealing and the person who is being shown the card what card is revealed?)

What do you guys think about this?

Also, do we wanna make it a best practice to do conditional end turn?

So something like,

end turn if someone shows me a card

may be very useful in the first 2 round to speed up the game play (We can make our turn in one post and the next post would be the other person)

I agree with allowing the update to go through, since it would be similar to someone deciding which card to show in the real game which does occur after the suggestion.

My concern with the auto-reveal order is that my order is likely to be different depending whose turn it is? and so i’d be pming you after almost every person’s turn to update my order for that specific person on the off chance that the suggestion comes to me to reveal a card. isn’t it easier to just have me select which card i want to be revealed?

I think you can send your auto-reveal preference based on players?

I got a question actually about guessing, can we guess twice in a same room consecutively?(without moving), Or can we only guess if we move to a new room?

From my understanding you must move at least one space each turn. You cannot choose not to leave the room you are in. You can exit, and then reenter the room you were in the next turn, though.

So let's say I was pulled to study by lilith. When it's my turn, must I roll more than a 2, to exit and enter to make a guess in study?

Because Lilith could guess without moving right? So I assume we should be able to?

Next question, can you roll a dice then decide to take the secret passage way?

Or must you choose whether or not to take the secret passage way before rolling the dice.

Secret Passages

The rooms in opposite corners of the mansion are connected by Secret Passages.
If you’re in one of these rooms at the start of your turn, you may, if you wish,

use a Secret
Passage instead of rolling

. To move through a Secret Passage, announce that you wish to
do so, then move your token to the room in the opposite corner.

Entering and Leaving a Room
You may enter or leave a room either by rolling the die and moving through
a door, or by moving through a Secret Passage.
· A door is the opening in the wall, not the space in front of the doorway.
When you pass through a door, do not count the doorway itself as a space.
· You may not pass through a door that’s blocked by an opponent’s token.
· As soon as you enter a room, stop moving. It doesn’t matter if you roll
a number that’s higher than you need to enter.
·

You may not re-enter the same room on a single turn.

· It is possible that your opponents might block any and all doors and trap
you in a room. If this happens, you must wait for someone to move and
un-block a door so you can leave!

You may make only one Suggestion after entering a particular room. To make your
next Suggestion, you must either enter a different room or, sometime after your next
turn, re-enter the room that you most recently left. You may not forfeit a turn to

I actually solved this 3 turns(rounds) ago but i didn't know the final room was library or kitchen.

Then I saw creative mod going to billard room(Near library). Was scared that he would go to library and guess, so I pulled him back to ballroom.

Haha, that was quite interesting for me.
