I think that puts us at 7! We can take one more if people are willing to play in teams (you have separate boards and hands, but your scores are aggregated.)
"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"
"Well, I..."
"What? Nothing? You would make the prince suffer over... nothing?"

Expansions: Cities (are we doing the new Wonders as well?)
Board selection: I think the easiest/fairest way to do this is for me to RNG the order. The first person gets the entire list of boards to choose from and selects one; they pass the remainder to the second person, who picks a board; and so on. Let me know if anyone has better ideas.

Sounds good. No I dea which expansions have which cards but sure.

Homertve: "Oh, and by the way, your tail is on fire."
Due to work happening and needing to create the Cities cards, I will likely be setting up the game this weekend. We technically still have one spot open to get to 8 players if anyone else is interested. I'll be assuming that the RNG board selection order is acceptable unless I get a majority opposition.
Drafting boards now - is there any point in keeping boards private until the end of the draft? If no one objects, I'll just post the boards once here in the thread and then players can announce their chosen board as they come up in the draft order.
Alright we are getting started! When it's your turn in the draft order, announce which board you are taking (ie "Byzantium"). You do not have to lock in which side of your board (A or B) you are using until everyone has finished drafting, but you can choose to do so at the time you select your board if you'd like.
Once someone announces their selection, both A and B sides of that board will no longer be available to choose for future players.
Here are all the boards:
