it can get wifomy, but trying to figure out what the scum were thinking when they killed someone can really be helpful, if for nothing else than for orienting your own thinking.
Except each individual person values so many different things when deciding on a kill as scum, not to mention how each specific grouping would value things, its hard to get a read on what is going on.
for example, if i think scum killed player x because player x would have gotten them lynched, i won't necessarily say so because someone will just go 'lol wifom what if they just wanted us to think that,' but it will make me start looking for other evidence against the person player x would have gotten lynched.
Fair nuff.

The only thing Tin did that irked me was the lurker vote, but its not an especially scummy action given the varying opinions on the subject. The rest of his posting was decently productive.

From Penguin's posts the one thing that interests me is the automatic assignment of "suspect" to me based on your question, but again its not something scummy.

Basically, I see nothing terribly swingy scummy, and some pro-town productiveness.

I don't think GS and IAUN's intereactions were likely distancing/bussing, and I don't really understand the case against him, unless we're talking about his D1 actions in isolation. Muerrto's implying that Fonz hasn't presented a case against GS/Ting is an understatement. From what I can tell, Fonz's case is "GS was distancing IAUN," which is not a case whatsoever. Calling something Distancing is belittling a town-tell, but is hardly ever a reliable scum tell - GS/IAUN interaction was no exception. It's certainly strange that Fonz is pushing this so strongly, but I don't mark him as highly likely scum for it. While Rofl is correct that scum hate confirmed-towns, it's very risky business to stick your neck out to do this instead of just NKing the obv-townie.

Hmm. I'm a lazy brass stud, I guess, but I still haven't reread the ting-Fonz argument thoroughly. It looks to me pretty much like unintentional misrepresentation on ting's side that's only vaguely incriminating. Fonz, however, seems to be making a fair point at first (GS not properly explaining drop off the IAUN wagon
or
the jump on the armlx wagon) but blows it out of proportion. I'll need to read it properly though to get a good idea of how much in there is invalid/BS, if at all.

Still waiting for someone to confirm whether the mod told us who killed who or not.
Muerrto wrote:EBWOP: I've also asked multiple times for some type of case on ME. Yes I have the same role as Vamp but you just asked me for a defense. How exactly do I defend when there's no case on ME?
Only way to 'defend' is to explain why we should think that you are not likely to be scum. If Vamparific's behavior looks like probable scum, of course we want to lynch him. It's not like cases are some kind of magic.

Nothing today has made me change my opinion on Muerrto. Let's just lynch him?

Do you think he's going to answer, and even if he could, do you really need to know?

If you really must know, I killed Lowell, and it looks to me like sun tzu and iamausername killed each other. But that's a question I don't like.

Argh, my point was not necessarily that I want to know who killed who, but that I think an open game should not be guess-the-mod, so that we should either know certainly and get no flavor hints (and thus wanted to know whether we got the information or was the stuff completely random). Not that there was any reason for this to be relevant but I wanted to know (perhaps know that we don't know) before it for some reason becomes.

This is true.

Silence, this set up uses distinct kill MO's for each group. We definitely aren't outguessing the mod here.

Wait, as far as I understood, Sun Tzu was targeted by the mafia in general. Why are you so sure it was IAUN specifically who killed him?

Mostly the flavor saying that IAUN went to kill Sun Tzu and Sun Tzu went to kill IAUN. I guess it wouldn't be a certainty, because flavor is flavor, but I can see where armix would get this.

Was no one else bothered by this line? 'Let's just hurry up and end the day with a mislynch already'. No one commented on it.

Also, you lurked for several days, tons of stuff was posted, and you came back with NO comment on any of it just 'let's lynch Muerrto'

And third, can you please post your OWN case on Vamp since he was 'proable scum'?

@fonz.
Okay, I want to check - your case on GS is:

1. He did not give reasons for his unvote
when
he unvoted, not that he didn't give an explanation, ever.
2. You expected him to tunnel vision IAU, but he didn't. You think that because he acted like 'tunneling townie' but didn't fit the profile, he must have been distancing.

Did I miss anything? Misrepresent anything? I just want to clarify before making a defense because I think we've been arguing about slightly different things.

---
armlx, about the posts when GS voted IAU and when GS voted armlx wrote:Who, GS? I didn't think he had a post between those two to harp on with.
He had 6 posts total between the those two posts, all of them about IAU. Two of them were just fluff though.
