Urm, technically no, you're meant to do it during your turn, but I think I might review the rules slightly depending on how this round goes... Ima run this round as normal and then ask for some feedback for 2 alternatives

1) anyone can back out when they wish but bidding must be done in order
2) open bidding where at any point you can bid/back out regardless of turn order

IF the bidding is at 4 then I will back out, IF the bidding is lower than 3 then I'll bid 1 higher

Also for now, I'm gonna stick with normal original rules but you may make IF statements to me in anyway shape or form, this is both for the putting down phase and the bidding phase

e.g IF it gets to my turn and nobody has started bidding, I bid 4
IF bidding has started, I will increase bidding by 1 providing that previous bid was at most 4
