continual rolling priority is a very stupid way to do waiver priority btw

I think reverse standings resetting every week is probably the most fair. If you're in last place, you're guaranteed to get your first choice, then you drop to the back of the line.
Continual rolling priority just ensures that people that NEED waivers more due to a rush of injuries/IRs will never be above like 9 or 10 on the priority list.

Unless someones entire fantasy team gets covid, no one is all ten and min, no one should have a rush as large as what rec seems to infer. And a rush of injuries can really effect anyone not just last so i am not on board with reck.

i mean im looking at bbm's team that has been plagued by injuries and he cannot get any big pickups above the waiver wire bc he literally has not been above 9 the entire season. and they process in order.

so... #1 gets their pick, goes to 10. #4 gets their pick, goes to 10, bumps #1 up to 9. #7 gets their pick, goes to 10, bumps #1 up to 8, #4 up to 9. finally, #10 gets to pick -- their *fourth choice* -- and goes back to #10, bumping everyone up above him.

it's a cycle where the last pick is always going to stay last pick AND not get their top priority/top pick ever.

How many injuries does BBM/FlameAxe have that he needs that many players? I can't view yahoo fantasy football while at work. I am in first with both Bell and McCaffery on IR and have been able to find replacement for them.

FAAB sounds fine. But if you bid $50 on a player, get them, they get injured, you drop them, then do you now get that $50 back or is it gone forever?

you do understand the point i'm making is that if someone is in 10th and submits a waiver claim and someone is in 1st and submits a waiver claim the person in 10th will always wind up back of the stack right?

I think putting his team back and locking it gives everyone in his division an unfair advantage and at least if the players were released those of us not in his division would have a shot.

what advantage are you talking about? it would be the same as if somebody ragequit from the league.

if you let him dump his whole team onto the waivers it gives an unfair advantage to whoever picks up his best players that shouldn't have been dropped in the first place.

ppl in his division play him twice and will get two free wins throughout the year. everyone else only gets 1. at least people in the other division could go for some of the dropped roster to try and bolster their roster.

bbm was asked to join the league to fill an emergency 10th spot bc agar was playing, then agar wasnt playing. he doesnt want to participate further. season wouldve gone on with or without him. moving his roster to free agency feels like the best way to revert the league back to its 9 player state, rather than have an entire roster locked up by a nonplayer who is going to be starting inactives and handing out free wins to his division

he's a free win in BOTH scenarios. but one of the scenarios lets people not in his division have a chance at recouping some losses.

it's not necessarily a free win each week. His roster could still have a good week and if a team is racked by injuries and or bye weeks he could easily win. What guarantees that he gives out free wins is if we allow him to have an empty roster. I'm bugging people to fill in.

it's free wins all the way down if you think his team is going to stay static and have a chance at beating anyone
which would mean to make it competitive you'd need to set his lineup each week which is also unfair

i'd be shocked if bbm's team wins a single game the rest of the season without meddling, and in that case, it solely benefits the people he plays twice, gg to the rest of us

I think usage based scoring (ppr) is just simply better than almost purely lucky based scoring (standard). Without ppr, winning basically becomes akin to "how many touchdowns did your receivers catch? And touchdowns being mostly luck based makes that question pretty dumb

My money league IRL uses .5PPR (stepped down from 1PPR after like 7 years bc it way inflated WRs and certain RBs) but we did add point per first down as well
