It's a lot of setup but they're cool yes. Especially powered tracks.

Was gonna replace the standard civs with new ones featuring the game's myriad animal people and while scanning through different types noticed there are no humanoids variants of any greater or lesser apes, so I just gave the apes [intelligent] and made civilizations of them a la Planet of the Apes since they already have all the requisite body parts.

It took me forever to start messing with the raws but it's super easy and fun.

Love those guys, disappointing not being able to talk is so limiting of some fun races in fortress mode without modding.
