Wikipedia: A bouleuterion (Greek: βουλευτήριον, bouleutērion), also translated as council house, assembly house, and senate house, was a building in ancient Greece which housed the council of citizens (βουλή, boulē) of a democratic city state. These representatives assembled at the bouleuterion to confer and decide about public affairs. There are several extant bouleuteria around Greece and its former colonies. It should not be confused with the Prytaneion, which housed the executive council of the assembly and often served as the boule's mess hall.

I'm gonna call foul here; I ruled out the voting house because "Greek city-states" was presented as "greek city states".

I understand not editing the user-submitted definitions (I ruled out the bedroom because "symmetrically" was missing an m and the billiard balls because every other correct definition has had a period at the end) but the actual definitions should have some quality control.

oops i cant spell

i figured npom is paraphrasing the definitions to the same standards as the ones we're submitting so i ignored the lack of a period.

I feel it's important to vary the definitions so you can't guess the definition by it's syntax, but still keep the definitions basically intact to its intention.

The gripe is less about the period and more about "Greek city-states".

Well, Greek and city states are both part of the wikipedia entry. So what's the gripe? That round 4 was also a greek word? Or that another answer used city states? Yeah, trying to throw players off might be part of the strategy.
