I do not, but I think that everyone going through a nightphase and second guessing plus the more general stalling effect will likely do more harm than good

Theoretically we will make more informed decisions after the nightphase than before because we will have the additional information of who the scum killed.

In practice, we should probably not worry about deadlines as an elim factor until they actually are an elim factor. We have a bunch of people who are not caught up and a 48 hour period to do so would not be the end of the world. I agree that we need to get past this mire of not doing anything, but rushing a vote based on that is not a big thing in this game. If there is a pairing that is never going to endgame and is obviously never going to endgame, we can vote them. If there isn't, rushing to get our kills in today doesn't help us at best and might actively shoot us in the foot at worst.

Why

There are only 3 slots off, (G5, G3, L2). I’d like to just flip them one by one until scum turns up,

if it doesn’t then it means scum were both on and whoever is left can try to figure out the exact implications of that.

That accidentally gets rid of the couples I want anyway, so okay then.

The bolded though-- the implications are nothing. The wagon-- it means nothing. This strategy makes no sense to me unless there's a reason to assume the amount of scum on that wagon. Probability would say there's 1-2 on wagon, but outside of probability I don't see any particular reason for scum to be on/off, especially when the votes were more votes to continue the game, less votes to kill G2/L4

i uh... have never been someone who makes it on many town lists for... certain reasons... so i tend to ignore scum reads on me unless the reasoning stands out as something i want to ask about to get a read on someone? like i'd only ask as a means of better reading someone

dont think id ever ask, say, a confirmed town player (or someone who's likely to eat a bullet at night) why they think i'm scum unless i thought it was likely others would follow their lead and i wanted to dismantle that

I'm somewhat less concerned with Lady 5's reasons for scumreading Gent 5 as the implications it could have on the game-- the wagon isn't indicative of anything in my opinion. Regardless, I want both 2/4 and 3/6 removed anyway, so I suppose it's fine.

I think this is the best for today, I’ll let G8 go into further detail on my behalf if people have questions, I’ve explained why I prefer this in the PT

If G5 does flip scum (I think he’s more likely than L8) then I think G4-L2 are basically cleared and should endgame second to L3-G9. I strongly TR L3 at this point, I’m not sure about G9 but if L8 flips town then I’m willing to say we sheep her because she seems convinced and it would mean she’s arguing in good faith that dannflor was also convinced on him being town.

Anyway, yeah, gotta run, I will be back before deadline but I’m not going to be able to lead this push so if G8 does end up deciding he agrees he’ll have to lead it for me
