In the neighborhood game I designed, it makes no sense to not claim neighborhood.
But I can see the argument for not massclaiming in setups like these where someone gets singled out as conftown when massclaims are made

THEORETICAL SITUATION where 'my neighbor' pushes me, if I think their push isn't town motivated I will out them.

My bias says that this is a way to excuse you pushing any nhood claim. This also pushes a narrative where people feel they 'have' to post a lot in their neighborhood chats, which more often than not leads to more fluff type posts being posted, while harming/reducing the number of relevant posts being made.

This post is a lie that was debunked by it's own ninja. No NHOOD claim d1 and good cooperation amongst scum means scum can absolutely fakeclaim NHOOD together D2.
But it also feels more like dumb-town than scum. It doesn't seem optimal for scum to try to push a misunderstanding like that; one that can be easily debunked as Pooky demonstrated by accident.

I wonder if who you're neighbors with gets redacted when your RolePM is revealed.

On some level, I understand Ari's level of disengagement from this game. Keep in mind this is THE person who is unable to tell anyone "No" for basically any reason.

If it becomes a pattern where he never engages with a game, we will deal with it then. But in the first couple of days of D1, with a 2 week deadline; I'm not interested in putting him through a trial by fire as of yet.

Why would you want the day phase to end so soon? Town's strongest tool is interacting more during the day phase figuring out who is scum.

From the way how I read this post it looks like you are saying it is bad that a player will ask about what do they think of this player and I disagree because that can be a good way for players to interact with each other asking for their thoughts figuring out on where there head is at.

It's a tactic that scum prefer to use when gently nudging someone to form a scumread on their preferred target. See Police Academy mafia, where I participated in the Mega-Hydra that was Stop Getting Banned Again. It is both an example of what I can accomplish as town as well as an example of scum leading others on with questions similar to what is being asked here. (I think, I mainly remember Jingle being the one to do this).

ari is floundering and they refuse to engage with their shitpush now bc theyre afraid to slip further. Case is coming tomorrow/friday but i think they've blundered enough to the point we can be confident of a scum flip. This also clears marquis and will get them nightkilled so its a win win for town

I do not believe that anyone can, in good faith, tell me that the top poster should have almost 2x the second top poster's posts.

The top 3 players have almost twice (1.78x) as many posts as the rest of the game, including replaced out players.

This is fucking nonsense. This is a partial picture that can lead to inducing apathy, especially when combined with their method of talking down to others.
This player knows that this is what they are doing. They are doing this intentionally and refer to it as 'manipulating', and has claimed to do so in games where they were town.

Take a long, hard look at their earlier interactions with myself and others.

You are scum because your actions benefit you as a scum-aligned player much more than they benefit you as a town-aligned player, DkKoba.

Let me make it as simple for you as I can.

Let's assume for a moment you are scum. Your actions make sense and accomplish several goals:
1. Several key players are disenfranchised with the game due to your rhetoric.
2: Other meaningful voices have been drowned out under the weight of your presence.
3: Negative attention has largely been diverted from you and your potential scumpartner.

These are all good things to accomplish as scum.

1 is not good for town, period.
2 is only good for town when used against very strong scumreads, and is very easy to get wrong.
3 can conditionally be good if you have a locktown read on the person you're diverting attention from, but like the above is easy to get wrong.

From as rational a standpoint as I can reach, you have solidly accomplished more scum type objectives than town ones.

I only have a total win rate of 27% as scum over my career.

That said, I tried my best to simply play from a town perspective this game, despite not being town.

Upon reflection, being too cautious and not death tunneling DkKoba was probably a sign to those that know me that something was not right. I am an angry, gut-fueled player, and the slow logical push just doesn't seem to work well for me despite it theoretically being objectively better play.

With that said, I'd like to single out a player for being particularly awful all game.

Koba, you're a disgusting human being and the site would benefit from your absense.

I'm something of a tryhard that gives a lot of fucks about his win-loss record, so the fact that I'm willing to throw the game to get away from you really should tell you everything you need to know about how I feel about you.

Thank god the foes list exists. And thank god I don't have any more stake in this absolute catastrope you guys call mafia.
