Let me be very clear - I am not going to take the blame for your bad decisions here. I really do think I’m obvious Town, to the point that I’m finding this both annoying and somewhat amusing. But I’m also trying as hard as I can to be patient so that we actually get a win.

The idea that I’m enough of a magician as Scum that I would purposefully delay a Scum win to Endgame only to play a gambit is absurd. And I’m getting tired of pretending otherwise. Scum is hard enough to play that you take your wins as quickly as you can. You know why? Because people re-evaluate, and they change their minds, or you might make some sort of dumb error that exposes you. There is no world where I pass on a win not once, but twice. If I was trying to set Aldus up for an execution as a “juicy alternative” to Koba, then why did I not urge Koba to switch their vote on Aldus with me when I had the chance? And why do I look outside the investigative in the first place?

You know what exemplifies the typical Scum approach to that situation? Look at what NPOM and VPB did. They were urging everybody to focus on the 1v1 established by VPB, and ignore me. Now THAT is what you would have seen from me as Scum. Or, what Aldus did - not post at all.

VPB I agree about the three masons - I felt that was a huge advantage for the Town.

You played great I felt, particularly after getting tracked to a death. The play was great. I really have nothing but compliments for the way you guys pushed us.

I trusted my gut. That’s all I can say about that. I actually had a lot of reservations about your slot, but I kept them to myself in order to push something outside of the 1v1 knowing that I couldn’t convince the Town to flip you instead of Koba.

Or at least I should say, far more reservations than the ones I made public. Like I had a strong feeling you would live until the next day hahaha which would convince others about your slot. I just had to get one flip right before.

Tough game for Baltar, getting stuck into an early claim is hard, especially if there is "just" Masons as town power. Maybe you would have had more wiggle room with limiting your claim with a modifier. Although I think it wouldn't have changed that much ultimately.

Honestly, well played by the Town all around. Everybody contributed in different ways to ensure a positive outcome. I really do think there was some strong Town play from Bob and Billy here. And that Ico read for sure saved us.

Thanks! This is one of my better games - I’ve had some massive duds too. It’s a good thing that my first completed game on this site actually turned out well for my alignment

Also, after reading the Mafia PT, I have to say that I have even greater compliments for Aldus. I’m mighty impressed by just how spot on the were about the direction of the game and the right plays to make. A lot to keep in mind if we see each other in any future games.
