Sorry I took a few days to sort this haha, been a bit of a busy few days

I'm sorting out my stuff now, currently got 2 spy masters and 3 players

Would be good to get a couple more players in here

Also I'd like to discuss a rules change, but obviously I'd put a vote on it and be fair to all players

My thoughts:

Abbreviations should be out. Acronyms ... eh, could go either way there. (Stuff like laser, radar, etc should be OK no matter what, though).

Homonyms are trickier.

Homographs (words that are spelled the same but sound different) - should be OK, since we're playing a text based game. TEAR should be okay for both FACE and PAPER. Default rules also allow this - player can just spell the word if they want to keep the pronunciation ambiguous.
Homophones (words that sound the same but are spelled different) - should not be OK. Default rules forbid this; flexible rules allow it.

I agree with Farren on this, the spelling thing makes it weird anyway. we should allow homographs but not allow clues where the spelling changes.

I like the abbreviations rule but I think if we include it then we should also allow proper nouns (like counting proper nouns as one word)

Holy mackerel. Go big or go home, I guess.

GAS - stars are giant balls of hydrogen fusion, I think?
SUPERHERO - would be a star in the celebrity sense.
FAN - celebrity-type stars have their adoring fans.
MOON - a celestial body, like a Sun-type star.
MODEL - back to celebrities again.
SPACE - where you'd find a star.

I can think of a couple others, but these all seem fairly solid.

Thoughts?
