Or be friendly as a matter of fact.

My doubt on isis scum is related to the idea that scum rarely open buddy.

I'm not mafia but I might be a fiddle that Hectic is playing a jig with :(

That isn't the case for forum mafia though. Scum are just generally less antagonistic and want to stay in everyone's good books.

At least partner me with someone that makes sense.
Like tealeaves. :shifty:
Yeaaah, about this... I don't get why you'd be "insulted" that you were partnered with Ydrasse if you don't think scum!you is good enough to pull that off. Isn't that a compliment rather than an insult?
It takes two to pull that off and because I don’t know it would be a totally unnecessary risk.

There is also no day chat for the scum team. Which means I had no means of asking for permission from her to push at her.

Which would explain why you switched off her when it looked like she might go through and didn't commit to launching her. HMMM

What made you change your mind on Ydrasse to the point where you dropped her off completely until the hammer vote (Where you specifically call attention to how your initial read on Ydrasse was to scumread her)?

i'm sure the answer is probably in your ISO but i dont have the time atm

In general, I don’t go back to old wagons day 2 after day 1. It’s to gather more information about different players to create further associations. If we mess up again.

Though seriously, there are a lot of antagonistic scum players and your argument that their aren’t with your level of experience is confusing.

You didn't go through with launching her because you couldn't ask her if she was alright with it.

I wouldn’t go through with a replace in push on her without her permission and you’re intentionally misunderstanding that.

I'm doing it as town right now
I think I have an imbalance where I reference meta a bit too much as scum compared to town and I do it in a way that should make my alignment discernible, even if no one has done so yet. I need to work on evening it out.

That's kind of a different topic from memeposts like 2264 though. I'm surprised you find that alignment indicative at all?

Made it a lot easier to townread you when I was pocatted. Those are the kind of optimal strats most scumteams are missing out on.

I consider it connection building. *shrug* it’s not a strong thing, but it bothered me because I played and lost a newbie game with a dude that was telling stories. You’re right though that the context is different. It’s just close enough to bother me enough to ask.

It doesn't seem very tactical to use stories to pocket one of the only players in the game that already townreads me, and that I still possibly want to chop

I can understand de ja vu paranoia feels though

Bell if your two biggest detractors are Isis and tea leaves which one do you think is scummier in their detraction?

This is my first time having to defend myself against a case since getting back.
It’s kind of nice. Though, because of that i’m not very good (I think) of changing their mind or opinions.

@isis: i’m a little conflicted. On one hand, tea leaves isn’t really leveling with me, twisting what i’m saying or taking what i’m saying as ~half-truth~ when it’s all truth and I don’t think it’s coming from a genuine place. But I don’t know how certain and serious he is. It seems kind of half hearted and removed, like this is just how he pressures people. He might feel neutral inside, laying out his suspicions and seeing what happens while continually poking or being dense to continue the interaction for a better read. Or I could just be projecting.

You’re taking on a tack where i’m not sure whether you’re contributing pressure, faking contributing pressure. taking the opportunity to lend weight the moment it seemed viable.
