I feel like that rule is more important for users who don't already have a custom title and often just want anything. And that it's worth asking if someone wants an existing custom title changed.

To clarify my question is it because you think it's not a good title because it's forced or because titles shouldn't be selected in a certain way? Honest question if it's not clear I feel like it may not be.

The context you might be missing is that Jake does this exact thing often enough that it itself is almost title worthy, and an end to that that makes everyone happy Jake included would be lovely.
