And VP had no real reason I can see to vote Gamma in particular and then calling everyone to vote gamma so hence negative sheeping. Because surely a townbloc should start for a reason/suspicion?

I'm not reaaally fence sitting. I've got a vote on someone I think is scum and I don't necessarily agree that you being this aggressive is a sign of scum but I'm not the biggest fan of it, seems a bit mean.

Well I didn't think that chkflip was scum and I'm not that pleased to be right. (I love these flavour role names though)
Gonna look at the wagon on chkflip, it's very possible most/all of the people that voted them are town but could be a scum player who hopped on an easy kill there somewhere.

Conversely I'm shocked anybody would be shocked by the confidence. Chkflip was acting scummy, got called on it, then admitted to being scummy but said it was all part of a test to get reactions and reads. Now, in a vacuum I have no problem with that whatsoever. But he gave no indication that this was true at all. When I see a townie get ran up to L-1 I usually see them try to get the vote onto somebody else. A player with reads would be able to do that. Failing that if they think their execution is inevitable they would be telling the town their last suspicions. Chkflip did none of those things and I'm not gonna apologize for hammering.

How was he acting scummy? He just said inflammatory things to get a response which is what most people seem to do anyway to scumhunt here so

To the first point, that's called scumhunting. To the second, I have no problem answering but before I do is there literally anybody in the thread who doesn't already understand that? I get people don't agree with my premises but I have been very clear about what they were.

No I get you're scumhunting but it feels a bit like scumhunting in a way where nothing is shared with town. What opinions do you actually have on players because if you're getting reads from your scumhunting, you ain't sharing them yet apparently?

I didn't claim to be experienced. Mostly played irl games which is very different.

Also I interpreted ckflips lack of reads from the aggressive behaviour as that his tactic had failed which makes sense because often people don't react well to aggression.

I kinda disagree that sole culpability is with Haschel for the hammer because if you're adding like the 6th vote knowing one more will get the person eliminated then what else do you expect really.
Maybe like the first 3 for example were just voting to put pressure but mostly after that is it to put pressure or is it knowing you will eliminate them.

I would be inclined to vote Haschel but he hasn't posted for little bit and I don't want to start any wagons in his absence. I get the vibe that we're all a little more cautious after a townie elim.

Also VP not sure about the being more present thing, I reckon I'm probably equally as vocal/present when scum as when not. It would probably depend on the person whether that's true or not.

I'm inclined towards voting off wagon now personally because it feels like we aren't getting anywhere new anymore with discussing the wagon. Haschel is firmly stands by his hammer and for reasons I somewhat understand even if I don't agree. Everyone else seems to have some sort of reasoning for voting ckflip and while I don't necessarily agree with all of the reasoning I'm not sure if there are many scum pings from the answers.

I'm not exactly "easy to sway" but my opinions and reads do change if I think it's a reasonable change. For example Reck, my slight SR there wasn't particularly strong in the first place and it was so early in the game that I felt it was reasonable to drop it.

Hmm. I hate to get swayed but I am thinking now the point UT made saying how it was as weird as ckflips post and looking back over her ISO I'm a bit more suspicious of Noraa than I was before.

Noraa, wouldn't it make sense to at least investigate a scumread first a bit before dropping it?

I don't think backpedals are indicative of scum or not necessarily but Haschel certainly didn't backpedal however and in a way his conviction gave me a bit of a townread. Sometimes I feel like scum players can tend towards backing off lest they get in hot water and a town player might not be even afraid of being in hot water so.

Gamma is as previously a bit cagey when replying but that could just be a Gamma thing rather than a scum thing theoretically, I'll hold my judgement for now.
Reck seems a bit prone to going with what's been said but to be fair the target was Noraa who previously scumread him so possibly not much there.
VP is again a bit of a leader, not sure how I feel about it but I did get townreads from him earlier. Hopefully a town leader then.

My reason for scumreading you Noraa was mostly because you seem far too eager to prove yourself to be town, I find town players more often stick to their guns even if others disagree but I think you back down in a way that suggests you have more to lose if you get scumread than others. I did explain this before but I might not have worded it well.

It seemed like he genuinely made a mistake with who he role blocked rather than lying but that he couldn't explain his supposed 2nd action in a game "with scum multitasking". Has this remained unexplained? Was this the visiting that Ythan saw? Interesting how Ythan thinks if Reck doesn't know his role then he must be scum. Not sure what this means but Haschel seems to back up Ythan in this and Haschel seems town..

Haschel claimed to both know Ythans role and know VPB is confirmed town. I was thinking VPB and Haschel might both be town atm so I'm inclined to accept this. Strong scumhunting and sticking to their reads.

Duppin: you said I'm passive in the game (atm that's fair sorry) and that I'm happy to jump between wagons. I disagree because I don't want to stick to something if the information changes, only if it remains the same. I still don't trust Noraa but the information was that tn was acting more scummy than Noraa so I changed my vote.
