the story of sunny, as told by me, from july 1st, when i first discovered them

that morning, nc's tourism department unveiled their big marketing campaign plan to help the state recover.
at first im like... okay, this is fine.


"not bad", i thought, "except i dont know what FLONK IF YOU'RE WEARING A MASK means, because they chose the worst font imaginable for BILLBOARDS while people are DRIVING THEIR CAR"

second, I thought it was pretty clear from how I worded that, but I am not suggesting that I am divining VP's alignment from a meta read. what I am doing is recounting a time previously when I made a mistake by second-guessing my gut read on someone and coincidentally it happened to be VP in the time I'm thinking of.

The disparity between these two posts is atrocious. In the first you're applauding xRECKONERx as helpful town and in the second you're chastising Haschel for asking you a question you found to be unhelpful. What pings me here is simple: they both posted equally. RECK's post about the history of Sunny, though enlightening for the kids not following along in the appreciation thread, wasn't remotely alignment indicative. Yet you're seemingly taken aback by something you don't think will help engage you in a way that'll show your own alignment? Pardon my French, bud, but that doesn't make any fucking reasonable amount of sense to me.

VP's posting isn't great but this post is also bad.

Anyway, I think that what it looks like the most to me is using inconsistency as a stand-in for scumminess when in and of itself it is not. I assume that chkflip knows that inconsistency is a common tell for scum players who sometimes are forced to adopt the reads that serve their purposes rather than the ones that make sense and so they can end up flip-flopping in inexplicable ways. so it is an argument that has some of the shape and words of a normal one but upon examination doesn't have the content

regardless, my primary issue with chkflip was that he absolutely exploded on something so tiny as to be nonexistent, presumably because he figured others would fill in the gaps for him and/or would see it as *effortposting* and therefore assume it to be town

i really didnt like haschel's hammer yesterday.

vpb is pretty much lock town for me off of vibes alone and im paranoid that means he's moving into my blind spot, which im really bad at seeing until late.

agar avoided the wagon or even commenting on it.

the annie edison kill is strange considering i had zero impression of them from d1.

ut/ythan have very similar trajectory, reads, timing, etc. not sure what to make of that. i think ut is town. not sure if that makes ythan town or scum hiding in the shadows of ut.

honestly the fact that AE and HC hopped on chkflip after that immaculate breadcrumb post is kinda strange?

What I'm saying is there is a preponderance of evidence that a number of people are overwhelmingly town. That makes the lim pool much smaller, so that's a worthwhile trade for some claims/softclaims.

What you're suggesting with mass claim would not further limit that pool at this point.

MAYBE I could see some kind of "infection" mechanic where "contact tracing" fucks with tracker/watcher roles, but there's nothing in my role PM that suggests that it works that way and no one has brought forward any information to suggest that it might
