Spoiler: Quick Reminder
I'd like to take this first opportunity to remind everyone that this game's rules about giving the necklace away is different:
{01a} Immunity necklaces MAY be transferred to someone else during Tribal Council but ONLY if done conditionally in your Decision Booth at least an hour before the challenge is complete. To do so post in your decision booth:

Code: Select all

@S:KYE Moderators/Hosts Give X my necklace if I win immunity

If you win immunity, the challenge result post will show you give the necklace to the player you have selected.

Each immunity necklace can only be passed to someone on the same tribe, and it cannot be refused by the recipient. Immunity necklaces may each only be passed once per round.

Time will not be added to the Tribal Council.

Challenge #13 Results

I'm not going to lie to you. This was a brutal challenge. Some gave up, some submitted wild guesses, and some persevered to conquer the task. All I can tell you for now, however, is that someone DID win immunity.

The correct answers were Xofelf, 1934, York.

Spoiler: Who Dat With The Immunity?
Dk, Tris, SleepyKrew, and D3f3nd3r each failed to identify any of the elements.

Haschel and Aristophanes each found 1.

Malkon, Pine, Awoo, and Espe each correctly named 2.

Three people participated and found all three elements. One was Vash, who finished in 71 minutes. But he's dead, so who cares, right?

The winner of immunity...with a time of 34 minutes...Zor's wife!!!

Oh, wait, she wasn't eligible to win.

With a time of 63 minutes, 17 seconds...

SummerInWonderland wins Immunity!

Challenge #16, Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament
Challenge Number:
16
Challenge Name:
Rock, Paper, Scissors
Contact First for Questions:
Zoraster
Rules for Discussing with Others on Tribe:
You may discuss this as much as you’d like with other members of the tribe to try to get inside their head! “Yo Monty. I’m gonna throw three straight Scissors at you!”
Link to Form:
This is the form.
Winner Determined by:
The highest number of WINS in each round.
What needs to be submitted to win:
You must submit the form, which includes a throw against each player.
Time limit or Max Time if Applicable:
None
Description:
You will select five “throws” against every other player in the game. However, only the first three will be used unless there is a tie.

Each player will be sorted into a single-elimination tournament, each player playing one other player. I will generate the tournament bracket shortly, but you will pick your throws against every other player. Using the form, you will “throw” three times against this opponent.

A player will advance if they have more wins against their opponent in the first three throws. If players tie, you will throw the fourth time. If you still tie, you will throw the fifth time.. If it is still tied, the tie-breaker question will be used. If it is still tied, a coin will be flipped. All of this will be resolved at once at the deadline.

The tie-breaker question: How many times total was paper thrown on people’s forms? (Closest wins)

For those of you not aware, Rock, Paper, Scissors is simple. Each contestant picks to “throw” either a Rock, Paper or Scissors. Rock beats Scissors. Scissors beats Paper. Paper beats Rock. In the event both contestants “throw” the same item, there is a tie.

Deadline: October 6 @ 18:00 EDT

Bracket:

Quarterfinal 1: Highest Random Number vs. Lowest Random Number
Quarterfinal 2: Second Highest Random Number vs. Second Lowest Random Number

Quarterfinal 3: Third Highest Random Number vs. Third Lowest Random Number
Quarterfinal 4: The two middle random numbers.

Semi 1: QF1 Winner vs. QF2 Winner
Semi 2: QF3 Winner vs. QF4 Winner

Final: Semi 1 Winner vs. Semi 2 Winner

Random numbers coming your way!

Challenge #17, Getting Jiggy With It
Challenge Number:
17
Challenge Name:
Getting Jiggy With It
Contact First for Questions:
Zoraster
Rules for Discussing with Others on Tribe:
You may not discuss this with anyone else until all involved in the conversation is done.
Link to Form:
This is the form.
Winner Determined by:
Fastest Time (from submitting start form to submitting finish form)
What needs to be submitted to win:
A screenshot of both the solved puzzle AND the number of pieces in the lower land-hand part of the screen along with the Congratulations! box.
Time limit or Max Time if Applicable:
60 minutes
Description:
You will be given a 144 piece non-rotating jigsaw puzzle. You must try to solve it as quickly as possible. The shortest time from submitting the start to submitting the link to your screencap wins immunity!

Your screenshot MUST include the number of pieces in the lower lefthand corner as well as the completed puzzle.

Tools.
In the lower lefthand corner there are a few icons. I highly recommend enabling the little ghost icon. Additionally, you can have it automatically arrange your unused pieces so they don’t overlap.

Note that the time you will log is NOT the time shown at the bottom (as you can pause this time) but rather the time between starting the puzzle and finishing from the forms.

You can practice a similar 144 piece puzzle with the same settings here: https://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=2a9ee50df71b

Challenge #18, OLAAT Redux
Challenge Number:
18
Challenge Name:
One Line at a Time Redux
Contact First for Questions:
Zoraster
Rules for Discussing with Others on Tribe:
You may not discuss this with anyone else.
Link to Form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... Q/viewform (submitting the first page will start your 5 minute timer!)
Winner Determined by:
Whoever has the most correct posts.
What needs to be submitted to win:

Time limit or Max Time if Applicable:
37 minutes
Description:
Each individual will get a Private Topic (PT) before they submit the start form They will submit a form, which will give them a list of 30 words. They will have 5 minutes in which to start the challenge as determined by the form submission time and the Private Topic first post time.
These timers may be slightly different, so don’t cut it too close!.
The form will give them a numbered list with each number containing a word or words.

Each minute a player must post a complete organic sentence that makes sense using the next word or words on the list. The sentences must be at least 5 words long.
The sentences must be made up of completely unique words
-- in other words, the sentence must not include words used from any prior post -- including the mandatory words (use your 5 minutes to read ahead)! But these are NOT just the words on the numbered list but ALL words in all your sentences. The sentences do not have to connect to each other.

The posts must be made every minute or less. This is determined by taking the previous post (so if it says 10:12:28 then the next post must be made by 10:13:28, but if you submit at 10:13:09 then the next will need to be made by 10:14:09).

A player that either posts too late, posts without using the correct word or words, posts too short of a sentence, or uses a word that was in a previous sentence is eliminated from the challenge. The last player left receives immunity IF and only IF they post 1 more valid sentence than the next best player. If there is no player that meets this criteria, ALL players will be eligible to be voted for and no one will have immunity.

You may use a dictionary. All words, other than proper nouns, must be found in a common English dictionary. Plurals of words will count as different words than singulars.

If you reach the end of the list, you have
120 seconds
from the prior post to compose an organic sentence that uses as many of the words on the list as possible. This sentence may reuse words as many times as necessary. If two or more players reach the end of their lists, the player that uses the most words within 120 seconds of their final word sentence will receive immunity. If there is a tie, the player that spent the least amount of time from their first sentence until their 30th sentence will win immunity.

Organic Sentences

Organic sentences are ones that aren’t “gamey” such as “The words on this list are X, Y, Z.” Use the word in a way that shows that you know the word and you’re using it as that word rather than as a word that could be ANY word. If there is any question, Zoraster will ask an unbiased third party to judge whether a sentence is “organic” or “gamey.”

This sounds kind of complicated so I'm happy to answer questions in your confessionals!
