Wait, a new Necro game has started? I was planning to post to the original long after everyone had forgotten it, but it seems like I left it so long that people have forgotten about this one too.

I wasn't planning to post here again (I thought it'd be funny to just come in, win, and leave again). But this thread has been idle for a dangerously long time and I'm worried someone might have set a timer to snipe my record. So, sadly, I have little choice but to bump the thread.

Gah, the worst (best?) thing about this game is that you have to keep bumping the thread in order to prevent someone sniping your win. (It's not like the OP is even being updated nowadays.)

No it isn't, it's 26 days, 7 hours, 26 minutes, 23 seconds (and thus beaten). I recommend converting your timestamps into a timezone that doesn't adjust for daylight saving time.

To win, you need to revive the thread after it has been inactive for longer than it has ever been inactive before.
For example, at one point in the past, the longest the thread had gone between posts was around one week; back then, you could have won by posting over one week after the most recent post.
The current record is considerably longer than a month. So winning is very difficult at this point, because if anyone posts too early, it resets the timer for how soon it's possible to win.

I think it was, by about 3 seconds. (I was aiming for 1 second but it seems that the site's clock is a little fast; if it had been slow by the same margin, it wouldn't have been a win.)
