First off that's not the game I was thinking you were referencing when I did my own research, I thought you were referencing Pokemon Fusion UPick, where I was scum and lived til the end. The fact you referenced a game that wasn't as closely in the specified timeframe as the one I'd initially picked out made me think that the situation in Ruby had been replicated, which was you being scum who pushed me for awful reasons (my predecessor was playing to their "scum meta", a hard-to-defend-against position if one doesn't know the details), which also match up to what the push on me rn feels like (essentially I'm getting pushed for having avoided the game, which isn't really defensible because there's no way I can demonstrate that it wasn't because I was scum).
