1. I don't think our play on day 1 after getting repeatedly kneecapped deserved protection, and I don't believe scum would have expected us to be protected instead of April.
2. I had a mild townread on Prism/420 pretty much the entirety of day 1 and that, plus the specificity of the claim (rather than something more generically protected) led me to believe the claim is real (or a mod-supplied fake claim). With the exception of that crazy moment when Cabd thought he'd botched his claim, I have believed he's town. My only concern is if I'm confusing "townreading" with "wanting him to be town". I don't think I am.
3. I think we made a huge tactical error not forcing a flavor claim out of maid on day 1 and I still think they're scum.

i don't think there was any necessary guarantee they were going to flip what they claimed on D1 at that point and leaving it till later in the game could've potentially either clarified that for scum or muddied the waters for town

it's usually a method of resolving conflicts, but the only real conflict with a lightning rod would be if they were directly blocked (which is what is being claimed happened N1)

at least that's how i think about it

Right, NAR is a tiebreaker mechanism, not a hierarchy for ALL actions by default.

There's no such thing as an escape velocity ability (all abilities get redirected to a lightning rod, but which one gets there first will depend on NAR).
N1: The first that got there was the alien so everything proceeded as normal.
N2: They were not targeted, everything got redirected to the lightning rod, but the lightning rod was then sent out to space first. So the NK, Neighborize,

Protect all went poof

and missed.
N3: Proceed as normal.

There was no N2 protect, the white mage could only act on non-consecutive nights.
