No. You earn bonus DxM by defeating a monster of your color, and some effects care about the color of the monster.

No color has an intrinsic benefit.

No, the color (that d6) literally has no bearing on their specific strength, only how they interact with stuff.

No, the roll has nothing to do with the monster. Those standees go in plastic coloured bases the colour that is rolled. All colour matters for is the player of the same colour gets benefits fighting it and items that care about a specific colour

The map tiles also have coloured arrows and you roll that die to determine which directions surviving monsters move in.

I mean when they roll in combat. Because you are the player rolling it, you can use a card that says "when you roll a die"

The numbers on the monster color chart is for determining color only, not power. The monsters level+combat dice determines it's power. Unless you are the same color as the monster then you get one extra combat dice.

And this is what the color base's for the monster's look like:

Also the image shows the munchkin tokens that the players use to move.

So basically how it works is:

1) A player enters an unexplored room.
2) Player gets a DxM card for exploring
3) A monster is drawn from the monster deck.
4) That monsters standie is taken from the monster standie box.
5) You roll the color die for that monster. The color dice have no pips or numbers, they are just colors to represent the color of the monster.
6) You take the color base from the color die that you rolled and put it on the bottom of the monster.
7) You put the base and the monster on the board.
8) You fight the monster(including potentially asking for help, getting messed with, winning/losing/running away/bad stuff/hit points/death)

Color die - The color die is used for determing the monster base and monster move. The numbers on the color chart are just for determing the color, they have no basis on the monsters power. I have to use numbers because there is no mechanic for a color only dice on the forum since the color die has no pips/numbers on it.

You have 2 hands. If you are using another weapon you only have one hand for this one. If you aren't using another hand weapon you can use it as a two handed weapon with a higher bonus.

The monster move is orange as per the color die chart.

Floating Nose is in the Guild Hall. There is an orange marker pointing N so it moves into the dark into the Gym.

The gym has an orange marker pointing E so the floating nose moves into the dark to the bug house.

The bug house has no orange markers so the floating nose movement ends there.
