There are no town MD roles in the setup. The fact Noraa thought there might be one despite having some breadth of setup knowledge makes me think she is scum who only knew the things she knew because it was disclosed to her as scum.

I think I agree with this and I'm ok with a Noraa lim still, this feels like another attempted townslip

I feel like their reads aren’t exactly honest. I feel like they are taking valid points and putting them together to make a completely different picture to what they should be. I also thought gamestate made them probable scum but Noraa being scum shakes that feeling.

I don't want ego to flip cuz that's not going to give any information. Honestly, Plus or Taylor give a fair bit of information really. Taylor flip kinda gives a read on you, BM, but also there's a lot of interactions people have had with both slots so it's actually information that can do a fair bit of stuff. Noraa was another that would help, but I'm inclined to leave her be for now.

Also, I do have a bunch of my game stats on my wikipage, it's just ridiculously out of date.

I'm thinking this is a bad post... you shouldn't care about information over voting mafia, it's a weak reason not to vote there

I don't know if there is but I just thought of Mafiasunny where MD was the crucial role in the end.

The fact that Noraa addresses this is a point in her favor I feel. I had the thought that it might be affecting her, but didn’t want to speak on it until I got a better sense of whether that idea was valid or not. I still think Noraa’s a good flip at this point, but there’s no smoking gun now.

Well it looks like my words on the subject didn’t amount to much. I think Noraa has a legitimate cause to point the finger at Infinity there if she’s town, that hammer came before I could come back and address how her acknowledgement of that other game affected my feelings on her. If she expected me to change course after seeing that, she’d definitely find the person who locked in the flip as scummy.

I wouldn't even call it a theory, just a feeling. It's probably related to my own personal feeling that I am flailing. Like I don't really see scum in {ego, Noraa, Tayl0r}. Of those three, I think Noraa looks the worst, but I also don't really feel like I'd be surprised if she flipped green. Tayl0r I really didn't see anything, I am just kind of curious what will happen if I park my vote there for a bit as I want to test BM's theory about Tayl0r being hard to flip (and I am now town reading BM pretty hard.)

That's not even to say that all 3 of them aren't scum I'm just personally not seeing it. I know BM disagrees but to me I don't feel like there is evidence of big TvS wagons happening. I think there is a decent chance we have just been pointing randomly at townies and some of the quieter players are scum. I know I've certainly been scum read in games a lot just because I post a lot and there's a lot to poke at.

Xof is one of those lurky players and I think the point about being upset about being VT was a good one. But it could also so easily just be genuine lim bait. And then I go back to, what if it's just Noraa? I mean there are those townslips that I do think look bad.

So I don't know I just feel like the solve is justttt out of my grasp and I think it might be because I'm not looking at the right players.

strongman is prolly literally like 1 or 2 shots cuz that role is way too strong. I doubt they would use strongman on BM even if he was an incredibly strong pr.

the excuse to say this in the first place is pretty weak, why wouldn't scum use a strongman on a claimed pr? i think noraa commented on it for the sake of faking a townslip

I had a cult spotter in a previous game which was just this side of not VT, and that was actually fun cuz I at least had information to do something with. I kinda.. need direction and concrete something to work with or I don't exactly know where to go or where to really start, and too many options and variables makes for not fun for xoffies. BUT I'm trying here.

BM does kind of have a point, but idk, both he and Taylor feel a little bulldog grabbing a hold on things.

I'm completely right on the Taylor-meta. she started the game as open-wolfing scum, playing deliberately anti-town in an open setup. Exactly like she did in her only other scum game, also in an open setup with me. It's the strongest meta read I've ever had I think. Taylor is smart enough to play to her wincon.

im also smart enough to be aware of my meta, especially obvious stuff like that. and its something i do as town at least as often as scum
