popcorn air poppers

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Thu Oct 22, 2020 10:09 am

I have eaten microwave bag popcorn for my entire life and am not satisfied by the quality anymore. My microwave is small enough where the bag can get stuck which causes some of the kernels to burn. Stove popcorn isn't an option due to laziness. I've heard very good things about air poppers. Does anyone here have experience with them?

yes
they work well
and not too expensive

if you eat a lot of popcorn, maybe worth the investment
but you'll also end up with diverticulitis
so
maybe don't

i have a hot air popper and I think it was only like $20 maybe even less. I love popcorn that I make with it.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

They make microwavable silicone popcorn poppers like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Microwaveable-Si ... 182&sr=8-4

I dont have that particular type, but mine works pretty good. I've also used air poppers in the past and they all make good popcorn, just storing the enormous thing is kind of a pain unless you have tons of storage.

Also used a weird rotating oil plate that popped popcorn. It was tasty, but not exactly healthy, also a huge pain in the ass to clean. Not recommended.
