I couldn't understand how he could do that.

I thought I was so townie.

I thought during day 2 if I just tried harder and harder he would see, see that I had to be town. But he didn't see me and I got more and more confused.

I was so tired and spent at the end of D2 - I didn't know what was going on - I wasn't happy and my fears multiplied.

When d3 dawned I was so full of fear that I couldn't see the goodness in Hectic anymore.

It was like a shadow had fallen over half of my soul and I couldn't find my way out.

I didn't know what I was doing, nothing felt right and I was prepared to die, I expected to die. I don't know why I'm still alive.

At the end of D3 I was so scared.

Scared of being wrong, scared of being right - I knew somewhere deep in my heart that this wouldn't end the game but my mind didn't know yet,

it kept pushing ahead, because the path was hard and difficult. One of us would need to die to avoid disaster.

The things I would do to change what happened, to make it him instead of me who lived, because I was weak and scared, because I didn't listen to my own heart.

That's a lie I've told myself all the way until today - it's not the truth - the easy way out was to kill myself - this is much harder - I wanted to spare him that, I couldn't burden him with BoP and all the things I had done to him - things he never deserved - things borne of my own paranoia and fear.

I needed to take that burden onto myself because it was me who had started the shitty fight that had led to that precipice, it would not have been fair for me to lay that on him, all the suffering I've had since then - my penance for what I did to my own soul.

I should have known Hectic was town as soon as he pushed hard on me. It made no sense for Scum-Hectic to fight back like that - he could've pocketed me so easily. A kind word there, a gentle sigh, I would've happily hopped into his pocket - I probably would've died for him.

Why didn't I know this? I think in my heart I did - but I needed it so much - needed him to say to me that he knew I was good. but he didn't - he pushed back and it killed me. it killed me to push against him - to try to kill him.

Things that I knew in my heart didn't make it up to my brain - the shadow was to thick.

Do you know what it feels like when you kill half of your own soul? It's like color fading from the sky - it's like stars fading out. It's like the taste of wine turning bitter on your tongue - a bitterness of loss - something that doesn't exist anymore.

The replacements don't know what happened here - they haven't lived through it. Lavender is a spectator, in some ways Tanner is as well.

We are here because we care. Probably more about this game than any others we are in, probably more than is healthy to.

You and I both know what this means - it's not even about winning or losing anymore. What do wins or losses mean when it comes to heartbreak? To friends leaving?

Where we end up doesn't matter - it's how we get there - I trust you've been on the same emotional rollercoaster as me regardless of your alignment - I am glad you are here with me now near the end.

Because you're the last piece of Hectic that I hold onto in my heart - He made me promise to keep you safe and I told him on the day I killed him that I would never let anything happen to you..

I don't know why you're un-confirmed - it feels like a cruel joke played on me by the universe - but now here I am trying to kill you because how can you be anything but the last of the scum?

I told myself before D5 that whoever was the towniest un-conf was probably the bad guy because that's how this game works - it's always the person you never expect, and there you were - so beautiful and innocent and it killed me.

It killed me because I knew I had to somehow find a way to push you. The person I promised Hectic I would keep safe. I never expected you to be here - but here you are.

It hurts me more than you know to push you. That's why I wanted to go Krazy first, he was t he last person on Hectic's list other than myself and lavender - but then the incident happened and my world collapsed and I haven't been the same since.

The thing with hopes and dreams - is that t hey rarely work out the way you would expect them to - I am out of tears, I've shed them all on D3 and I've been plowing ahead based on nothing but a desire to get to the dead thread and apologize to Hectic for being wrong.

I've wanted to die for a while now but I can't face him if I don't do my best to win the game - how could I given what I had done to him?

I told myself before this game that I would post less, that I would care less, that my commitment levels would be lower because it doesn't make sense for me to care that much as town,

It is harmful to town EV for me to post as much as I have in the past when I care deeply about a game, I have failed completely and utterly in this respect.

This thread doesn't need 900 Pooky AtE posts about nothing, I 'm pretty sure like almost everybody here is better at finding bad guys than me.

I suck at self-control, I really do, it's something I really should work on. Maybe I'll jself-impose a post restriction on my self in the future or something, I don't know.

Are you tired of reading my nonsensical ramblings? I'm mostly spent - I just want this suffering to end. That's why I'm ok with self-hammering tommorrow if it's 3-3, because I'm not sure I can make it another day here.

I am spent mentally and emotionally. someone else should be doing most of the talking. I'm so thankful duckie and noraa are here - I hope they can do a better job than I have when I am gone.

I want to apologize yet again for all the errors I've made in this game. It's led to an F4 that will not be pleasant for anyone to play.

I am a gifting bear so I think it's only appropriate that I leave you each with some gifts for the hard choices you will have to make tomorrow.

Play with your hearts open. Do the spares that we couldn't find the heart to do, light will triumph in the end.


For Noraa, Alisae and Prism:

PookyTheMagicalBear saw the last few tiles were green and leapt off and ran, bare bear feet pattering on the green glass. He reached the prize at least.
"Whoa! Lots of ingenuity there, bear. Aren't afterschool special protagonists not supposed to take the nerdy angle? I guess I'm not sure." Nahdia admitted. They handed PookyTheMagicalBear a Nice Cream Cone. The bear grinned and ate half of the treat right away.
Then, PookyTheMagicalBear looked back at all the others who were attempting the puzzle. A concerned frown of shock zapped across PookyTheMagicalBear's face when he saw that Alisae had somehow surrounded emself with red tiles trying to cross the puzzle. Dark tiles would have been fine - e could start over - but a ring of red tiles was a problem. Somehow Alisae had managed to get into a problem that should be just as hard to get into as it was to get out of, like a cat up a tree.
"I'll turn the puzzle off!" PookyTheMagicalBear resolved. The bear plodded over to a machine full of levers and knobs and began guessing at how it worked, hoping he could turn off the puzzle or at least turn every tile green so that Alisae could move freely again.

For Lavender (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) :

PookyTheMagicalBear tried to make his way across the flashing tiles. He walked a few paces, then saw a few red tiles, so he went left. After a few more paces, the green tiles narrowed until they were surrounded by red tiles and it was a dead end. Frustrated, he ran off to the right as fast as he could, but didn't notice a dark tile among an open span of green tiles and was warped back to start.
"No way!" PookyTheMagicalBear bemoaned.
"No way!" Lavender bemoaned.
Lavender was floating on the edge of the puzzle, not even trying to go. That's because she was still looking around for her orbs and was stressed out about not having them.
"Oh, Lavender. It makes me sad that you don't have your orbs. Let's help eachother. If you will be brave for me and go earn the Nice Cream to share with me, I'll find your orbs for you." PookyTheMagicalBear gently pushed her, causing her to float freely over tiles of any color and move towards Nahdia and the tasty Nice Cream cone.

Thank you so much for everything you've done for me, you saved the game on Day 2 when you showed up and I trust you will save us all again in the end. I'd like to give you this picture of a Lavender Field. ヽ(~_~(・_・ )ゝ

For Ducky, Redtea, Sujimichi, and Krazy:

PookyTheMagicalBear saw that Hectic was not making that much progress and that Lavender was drifting rather slowly. But he was very, very hungry. And he decided he absolutely MUST have that nice cream. So he decided he wanted to cheat. He found some green tiles near the start and started chopping them up. Green tiles were good. They led to winning.
"Krazy what's your size?"
"Um, why are you asking that?"
"Oh, no reason, no reason. It's okay, you don't have to tell me anyway. I can just tell."
When Krazy wasn't paying enough attention, PookyTheMagicalBear fastened a full green-tile-plating to Krazy's back. Somehow even though the tiles had been ripped from the puzzle, they still seemed to shimmer with power.
"Krazy we are going to win this thing together. But I'm kind of more asking than telling. Lay down." Pooky pushed Krazy onto his back, then crawled onto Krazy's stomach. Krazy had been standing in front of a black tile, and like PookyTheMagicalBear predicted his special armor negated it
"Don't kick your legs out of your shell. Trust! Trust!" Pooky pulled out two candy canes and began using them like oars to slowly drag the pair across the vast expanse of multicolored tiles.

Thanks for replacing into this monster game, it was fun while it lasted - I know you'll do amazing tomorrow, what better gift for you than a cute ducky falling asleep :3.

For Tanner:

"Ok, you actors look like you need a challenge." Nahdia stated. They turned out the lights again, but this time they brought the lights back on by lighting up the floor in a wild pattern of squares. "It's a floor puzzle! It's a beta with three colors though.. the green ones let you walk, the red ones don't, and the dark ones teleport you to start."
Nahdia tossed a cone of Nice Cream from their left hand to their right.
"Prop incorporation! First to cross gets to eat!".
Tanner tried to look down at all the tiles. They glowed and flashed in a bright red and green, except for the dull grey colors. Tanner soon had to close his eye, in a bit of pain.
"Urghh.."
It looked like it hurt.
PookyTheMagicalBear saw Tanner, and his heart brimmed with compassion.
"Wait, Tanner."
PookyTheMagicalBear disabled one of the dark panels and pulled the glass tile off of it, effectively destroying that tile. Then he rounded it into a circle using the sharp edge, and laid it over Tanner's eye like a contact lens.
"Here, you have shade now." PookyTheMagicalBear gave Tanner a small smile.

You are the rock that kept me grounded and sane through everything. Thank you so much for being there when I needed you. Eyes on the city - Hearts Full, Can't Lose.

Morning Tweet thought the back alley set reminded her of a crime-filled city. She felt that the after school special deserved a hero.
"Stop, obvious thief!" the masked knight shouted at PookyTheMagicalBear. PookyTheMagicalBear was simply holding a gift box that belonged to him, but apparently that was an incriminating sign of theft.
"I keep these streets free and safe!" Morning Tweet pretend-punched PookyTheMagicalBear. But to make it a knockout punch, she used some of her sleep magic, which she seemed still able to use in spite of her costume. The bear gradually fell asleep on the stage floor.

Thank you for a fantastic game, for not giving up when your partners were gone, for putting together something truly enjoyable. Me and Hectic will both be gone by the time you read this so you are the last piece of our soul that will go on. Tomorrow will be tough but you will make it because you are so beautiful and true.

Twas a confusing game. Sorry for pushing that last mislim. The reason why I thought the last townie was doing badly was because they didnt obvtown. Generally in a scenario like this, I generally expect them to have stronger opinions on who is scum considering Lav was conftown and I was close enough and prolly at a locktown type of thing. I would've expected the townie to be like "this is scum. yeet them NOW"
